GOOD THING EL CHICO CARES ENOUGH TO REQUEST YOU SEND THEM AN EMAIL. ONLY TO IGNORE. Service was HORRIBLE. Took forever to get... food. Waitress had a attitude. Couldn't get refills, napkins or more chips. They messed up one of the dinners and instead of anapology and taking it off the bill, they charged me for what was incorrectly served to the table. I had to go find the manager(waitress was non existent) and when I told him, he took a whopping $3 from the wrong dinner plate. Totally turned off fromexperience there. Been numerous times before but after this bs experience, not sure we will return. Read more
Wow!!! I haven?t eaten at an El Chico in many many years. They all closed down in the greater Dallas area. When I saw this one I... figured, why not?? Boy was that a great choice!!! Food was good but the service was horrible. Went at about 330 on a Sunday and it took 30 minutes to get our food. The waitress... seemed to busy with the 4 people at the bar instead of taking care of her customers. There was only 2 other tables occupied. $70for 2 people and a 1 year old to eat. Save your money or go somewhere else. The rice and beans tasted off, queso was off, tortillas seemed weird, buttery. The server... was so slow bringing drink refills,drinks, even my food. I had the Rodeo and my wife had the mushroom enchilada dinners and they were very good. Staff was friendly and our server was... Emily. She was great. The food was hot when served. The orders were taken quickly. Our drinks and chips with salsa came just asquick. Emily asked us if we wanted cups for drinks to go. Outstanding job!!! Read more
