I wasn?t going to leave a review but I got sick after eating here. I drove 3 hrs yesterday for this restaurant because I first... tried one of their locations before the pandemic, and after quarantine. I always order the 2 Step and split it with my partner,she gets hers medium rare and mine medium well. We ordered the same thing yesterday; she got hers medium rare and I got minemedium well or so I thought? my steak was so bitter from being way over well done, I had a few bites because I had not hadanything to eat all day but I really should have spit out the first bite. Our waitress Ana was awesome! We came from DFW area for a show in Granbury. I would highly recommend this place. The food was... delicious and the apps were more than enough to feed 4. Next time we visit, we will be coming here. Read more
Terrible service. Waited while other tables were attended. Once order taken (Allie is waitress) of Bandera Pork Chops I was... brought ribs. Table next to me got wrong order too and lady had to wait for correct order. Food was OK but bad service, longwait, no drink refills made it a poor experience. Ticket charged me for cheese broccoli soup when it is part of the meal Iordered. Waitress told me she was so confused. Sigh, everyone has a bad day but wow, she is struggling badly. Read more
The moment we walked in the door the servers made us feel like apart of their family. Red our server was amazing did an... excellent job. Made sure we had what he needed. Thought I would try a 1/2 rack of the Dr Pepper ribs with steamed spinach. Everything was good. The ribs were a little dry but... overall they were cooked well and the flavor was good. Read more
If I was going to rate Hoffbrau on food alone, then this likely wouldn't be as high (good but not mind blowing). But the... atmosphere and service was excellent (both rare in there times.) Our waitress was wonderful and went above and beyond. Mygirlfriend got a house salad took a bite and didn't like it and put it aside. When the waitress saw she offered to take it backand bring a new side, we politely declined. But a high standard was reached from there. Reasonable prices and the sausage withDr Pepper BBQ sauce was tasty as well as my chicken fried chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. In my opinion they have the best chicken fried steak, and of course their steaks did not disappoint either. Make sure to save... some room for the peach cobbler. I used to go to the Dallas location many years back. I can't find anything in Dallas tomatch food mainly the chicken fried steak, so I'm happy to find this restaurant on the way of my monthly trips to Stephenville. Read more
