I went with family and waiter Kim served us. We brought our wine and they allowed to drink there without any extra charges. Food... was not very good but okay type. Restaurant ambience is nice and staff miss Kim is friendly and helpful. TQ Read more

Showed up with no reservation on a Saturday and got a table right away, service was good. The chicken cari soup and fried... calamari were good. The pad Thai was not really spicy, ask for 3/3 spice level. Read more

Worst experience, this place is horrible. The waitresses are so rude, they're looking at you like you're disturbing them...After... about half an hour we had to leave cause nobody approached us, spending our money elsewhere. Read more

In the mood for Chinese food in Granby, we settled on Lotus d'Or based on the good Google reviews. It was a poor choice. We... ordered two dishes: bird's nest vegetable tofu, and chicken with vegetables in a red curry sauce and coconut milk. On arrival, they looked suspiciously similar. Pointing to the Thai dish, we asked the waitress if that was the red curry sauce one, and shesaid yes. After tasting, we confirmed that both dishes were in the same thin, brown sauce. There was no trace of red currysauce or coconut milk at all. The only difference was chicken-rice in one dish and tofu-noodles in the other. Their taste wasunremarkable. Considering the price (nearly $20 per dish) and what we got, it was a disappointing experience that we instantlyregretted. We won't be going back. UPDATE IN REPLY TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: "First of all we are not Chinese Restaurant !! Secondof all go !!!!" I understand your frustration at the negative review, however you should be more frustrated that a payingcustomer had such a poor experience at your establishment. Take the criticism in stride and strive to do better. My review isnot the only negative one here saying the same thing. If anyone should be frustrated, it's my party who paid for the lousy mealand tipped well anyway. Furthermore, I never said your restaurant was Chinese. I said we felt like having Chinese food andsettled on yours. Read more

Bland expensive food. Pad Thai had rubbery chicken and no tamarind. Beef tasted boiled not grilled. This is a place for... small-town folk who dont know what these dishes should taste like. Service was rude. No chopsticks. Tacky paper "horoscope"placemats for a $50 meal. Appalling bad food and prices to match. Read more

1. Too costly. 2 dish (Pad Thai and Chicken bird nest) cost us 50$ tax and tip included. The price is absurd. 2. A bit... scamming. We brought our toddler to eat with us, they refused to let us pick a menu item from the kids menu (I suspect becauseit was just 8.95$ and they wouldn't make any profit out of it). So we were forced to pick a normal dish for the toddler at 18$tax excluded... 3. Food quality was terrible. So when we got our dishes, my wife and I realized that both our dishes had waytoo much pepper. When we asked the waitress... She said... It must be the oyster sauce... As if we, as Asians, didn't know thedifference between pepper and oyster sauce... The Pad Thai was lumpy and didn't taste like anything that I could qualify as aPad Thai... As a matter a fact, just to add salt to injury, I would say that Thai express makes better Pad Thai than this. Bothmy wife will not be coming back again. If you are Asians, I don't think you will like it either. Read more
