Maritimers of the world, rejoice. You have unlocked your memories and found the Donair Pizza of your distant childhood... dreams. I have lived in Toronto for over a decade, long enough to almost forget just how bad Chain Pizza in Ontario is. Untilyesterday that is. The problem with Pizza in Toronto, is that it is literally ALL terrible no matter what you pay for it. PizzaDelight is a beloved Maritime tradition, where pizza is made with that unique sweet tomato sauce, and your pizza always comeswith a side of Garlic cheese Fingers, something I'm shocked and actually quite dismayed that Ontario doesn't have even anawareness of. (I'm assuming a lot of the reviews here are talking about them as garlic bread? No this isn't garlic bread it isgarlic fingers give your head a shake). In my random travels in rural Ontario I always stop at PD, and I have got to say myexperiences have not consistently been positive, because I assume that they have had to modify their recipes and ways to beaccepted by the Ontario Pizza consumers who've been Stockholm Syndromed into thinking that Pizza Pizza is the standard, in allits burnt, hard, sauceless, toppingless "glory". But the grand bend location NAILED IT. It's exactly the experience I rememberfrom home, complete with the Donair Sauce, which I've yet to have in Ontario match exactly as a remember until today. It's sogood, and anyone who leaves you a bad review has been Ontarioed into thinking Bad Pizza is what pizza is. Read more

Had a chance to try their pizza again with a dry cured pepperoni and the cheese used for garlic sticks. We liked it and will... order again. PREVIOUS REVIEW Nice clean store, nice outdoor eating area provided however most tasteless pizza ever. Crust hadless flavour than bread and an odd sweetness. Could not taste the pepperoni. $25.00 down the drain. Read more

The service was great! The price was a little steep for the serving. The patio outside was nice and kept very clean. As... others reviewed, I have to agree the pizza was very bland. Not the best. The sauce would have made a difference. I don't enjoygiving unfavourable reviews but honesty is not a crime. Personally I would not recommend. But you must try for self to decide. Read more

A quick and convenient stop for some great pizza. I found the staff extremely friendly and cognisant of food allergies... (gluten). They offer gluten free pizza which is always nice to see, understanding that this is not a gluten free facility. Thepizza was slightly more expensive than what I was expecting. #localguides #gf #glutenfree Read more

Update - Visited again and was not disappointed. Service was attentive and very polite. We notice the staff was working hard.... The washrooms and the servery area were also very clean. We think it was even better than the past. Still a great place to gowith kids for a break from the beach. Been going each time we visit the Pinery Provincial Park over the last 10 years or so.Seating is limited but take out is fast. Plus they have seating outside. Food is what you expect from a pizza place. Lots ofchoice too. Read more
