Nice Italian restaurant with great views of Smith Lake. Came in with a group of 4. Our server Alli (Allison?) was very pleasant... and attentive. The 4 of us all ordered different entrees. Salmon, Pork Chops (The special that night), Canelloni, and a pastadish. Food was very good, however the potatoes that were served with the salmon and pork chop entrees were undercooked and rawin the middle. Hard to believe that this could happen in such a nice restaurant. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, but thekitchen should be a little more consciousness of the small details that can make a restaurant great. We would come back. Read more

After reading the reviews for this place I'm not interested. My Mom and Pops was at one of the other restaurants having wine... when my mother spoke to the owner. When she found out there was a restaurant in Grand Blanc she was excited to tell me. Livinghere for over a year now I thought I had eaten everywhere in Grand Blanc that has any relevance and there isn't muchunfortunately. Who knew this place is even here! When I read things that an Italian restaurant has bland foods small portionsand high prices oh and a delusional owner that refuses to accept bad reviews defending their foods.... I'm shocked! So I lookand see 40 for a slice of lasagna that's so small it must be a joke? Is there something that expensive in the sauce? Welll nonot from what the customers say... I do short reviews on here and I'm a real chef! I'm considering opening a restaurant to showreal flavors that are so lacking here. Sorry but I'll save my money and just give you my review. My Grandmother would say Youcan put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. Nice looking place! ....................... As I had said my Mother was theredrinking wine not eating. Maybe you should go educate yourself learn to read. Why would I ever want to eat your food? With allthe negative reviews! I can easily skip payin $150 for some cheap bunk and write a review much cheaper! I would never eat yourfood! Read more

This restaurant needs to be closed for training. The management at this establishment should focus of making sure the servers... are aware of what wines go with certain entrees. They should be allowed to taste wines to know how they compliment the meal thecustomer is ordering. In addition, whoever the owner/manager is, they really need an attitude check, i should not watch myserver be berated by their staff members during their shift. I will never be coming back to this sad excuse called a restaurant. Read more

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful summer evening on the terrace at De Edoardo North - Grand Blanc. The craft cocktails and... dinners were delicious - Filet, homemade Ravioli, Angel Hair Pasta w/cream sauce & chicken. The dessert tray was beautiful. Too full for dessert, there, we ended up taking home their tiramisu. The service was very good. Owner, Eddie B. stopped by ourtable to check on our experience. It was a nice touch. . We will be back. We recently had a small family gathering at Da Edoardo and it was outstanding! The atmosphere, our server (Chris) and the food... were all first class. We had lasagna, chicken marsala , the calamari app and a dark chocolate cake for dessert. We plan to goback for the couples night on Tuesdays very soon! Read more

We did have a minor problem withe service but, staff was so gracious and tookcare of it immediately. They made our stay so comfortable that we felt like family. The food was delicious and would liveto go back. Read more

I wish there was a 10 star option because this place is absolutely amazing! We have lived in this area since 2012 and had no... idea it even existed until we went to a baby shower there last weekend. The food was so amazing at the shower that I just had togo back to try it for dinner. The food was amazing and our server was great. I never got to the bottom of my iced tea becauseit was always refilled before it got to that point. Both the inside of the restaurant and the outdoor seating area areabsolutely beautiful. Needless to say, I most definitely plan on going back again and again. This place is a "highly recommend"for me. The photos I posted are both from the baby shower my husband and I went to as well as from my dinner tonight. Read more

Good, but not great. What I loved: • The Italian wine selection was expansive and impressive. They even had a Chianti from... a vineyard in Tuscany I visited—so they are in touch with truly authentic wines. What I did not love: • The service. Iwas a lost patron until I flagged down a busser. • The entree. I had the Cannelloni Verdi Di Ricotta ‘Da Edoardo.' Giventhat it was a namesake of the restaurant, I had high expectations. Unfortunately it missed the mark. Visually, it looked a bitover done. Once I took the first bite, the cannelloni itself was almost dry, and while it had flavor, it was not an appealingflavor. To acknowledge the good, I must give a nod to the tomato cream sauce; that was the one exceptional element of theplate. Other notables: •. The bread was pleasant. Fresh and warm. As a bonus it came with a balsamic, oil and parmesanchess dip. •. The salad course was also reasonable. The housemate Italian dressing was passable and nice. Bonus points for ahigh quality freshly grated cheese. •. The atmosphere was perhaps dated, but traditional, and had a serene view. Overall, without loving every single bite, I cannot offer 5 stars. But, Da Edoardo is worthy of a visit. Read more
