Amazing overall experience! Our waiter Vargas was very helpful and informative on the menu. My boyfriend and I even wanted to... share our meal and they cut it and separated it for us! Amazing service once again and the steak was extremely well seasoned andjuicy! Definitely recommend the red skin mashed potatoes. ???????? Read more

We read the reviews but went for it. The atmosphere is classic western. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was... tasty and full of flavor. We order the ribeye, the NY strip, the Baseball steak, and a kids meal. The steaks were doneperfectly. Honestly we don't get any steak less than medium rare (cooked any more is a crime in our home). We ordered twodesserts, the lemon and peanut butter. I couldn't get a clean pic before they were attacked by the family, lol. I highlyrecommend. Read more

This is one of the best restaurants right outside of the south rim! Ronnie provided pretty good service except he didn't check... up on us during the meal. The food was pretty delicious. The onion rings were sooo good. The burgers were decent except theywere a bit blackened on the outside. It almost seemed like they were cooked and put back on the grill right before being broughtout. Spacious dining room and a cool stage inside the main dining room. Read more

Finally made it to the Grand Canyon! Unfortunately, my experience at Big E's wasn't the greatest. A plus is that I was seated... immediately, but after that I was invisible. I was seated for way too long before anyone paid any attention to me or came tooffer me a drink. I watched as I was overlooked and others were catered too. When our waiter finally addressed us, he wasn'tvery friendly or engaging. Didn't offer any suggestions and he was MIA after he took the order. When I finally got my order inthey forgot our drinks, didn't bring straws, and my silverware was dirty. The food was decent. But the service was awful. I paidmy bill and left a tip. Unfortunately I won't be going back this trip and I don't recommend the restaurant. Read more

We ate here last night and very unhappy with the meal. My chicken was bloody/uncooked and my husband's steak was mooing ????... (very fatty and undercooked). The baked potatoes were good and the service was great. Very friendly staff. We ended up leavingand eating somewhere else. They had a large screen that showed images of the nearby area. That was nice but wouldn't recommendthe dinning unfortunately. Read more

Quick Summary It's probably the best steakhouse in the Grand Canyon area. Try to get here early; they don't take reservations... unless it's for a large party. Meat was tender, service was pretty fast. The only downside was it was under-seasoned (which isfine because that's what the salt and pepper on the table were for) Food- 4 stars Tenderloin medallions- these were quitetender and juicy. Only downside was it could've added a bit more salt, but nothing some tableside salt can't fix Ribeye- sameas above. Good marbling, cooked perfectly, but needed more salt Beet salad- this was pretty good. Vegetables were all fresh Weordered the mash potatoes, vegetables, onion rings, and mushrooms. Everything was pretty good as well Service- 4 stars Friendlyand fast service. A bit more hole-in-the-wall service than I would've liked, but I still enjoyed the meal Bottom Line In theGrand Canyon area where there aren't many good dining options to choose from, Big E Steakhouse stands out above the rest Read more

The service is outstanding. From the hostess to our waitress to the bartender. 5 stars. But our steaks were the worst we have... ever had. Denny's have better steaks than this place. Plus, our mixed vegetables had no seasoning. Read more

Total bill was WAY over $100 so this is not a meal on the cheap. However, the spinach-artichoke dip was GREAT - served with... garlic bread (and the pieces of bread were almost too big for your mouth!). Having salad with your meal is NOT a side. Hated topay extra but I did and it was good. Sirloin was very, VERY tender, as was the prime rib. After over a 4 minute wait (they werebusy), we got our drink and food order in. After that, fabulous service. Read more
