So the date is 10/16/2022. I got into their drive thru like at 11:50 PM. They close at midnight. I wait in line and I get to the... speaker ordering area right at 11:59 and then I?m waiting for someone to say ?hello what can I get for you? but nobody saysanything for 30 seconds(no exaggeration)?and then it becomes midnight right while I?m standing in front of the screen and thelights and screens turn of and I wonder what?s going on?then someone at the speaker says ?sorry we?re closed and are not takingany more orders now.? I tell I?ve waited in line and that it?s not my fault that they?re slow. Absolutely nothing in lifeoperates this way from voting to to a dine restaurant or even CFA drive thrus. You keep more people from joining the line at 12.You don?t kick everyone that?s been waiting out. But it?s McDonald?s so I guess we are expected to keep a low bar. She thentells me ?we don?t have any more food. Anybody with logic can figure out either you are making food as they are ordered at whichpoint you could make my food or you just happened to have the food that the person with many college students had exactly.Neither of which is convincing. Don?t be insincere. That makes it worse. I work in the restaurant industry and we would never dothis. It?s unethical. Like I said it is McDonalds. Can?t expect more. What do they have to lose? I won't be coming back. We couldn't figure out the new ordering system while TWO employees watched. It said to grab a table tent... but didn't say where. I found the tents but my order had vanished. I walked up to the counter and amazingly NO ONE would look atme or come over to me. We just left. Unfortunately this location has a history of bad customer service. I understand it ismostly kids working here but that is not an excuse. The McDonald on 32nd Street doesn't have employees like this. Neither doesother companies. Read more
I hated the fact that you cant place your order to a human being. Before leaving Grand Forks North Dakota we stop by at another... McDonald's location. Not only the person taking my order at the drive thru having difficulty hearing me placey order. He alsodid not take my full order. I had to walk in and place my remaining order thru the touch screen. Not having a McDonald'sexperience at both Grand Forks North Dakota locations today. Read more
Inside feels like a morgue...it was renovated but not at all kid friendly...its quiet, cold (mentally) uninviting, not fun,... sterile environment ..if I stop for a bite to eat there in the future..I will sit in my car and eat ...Not impressed!!! So the food is what you would expect. No issues on the quality of what you get. The only advice I can give is to check your... order every time. NO EXEPTIONS. Funny thing is usually it's a burger or sauce they forget when we get nuggets. Today they did a180 and gave me the sauce but no nuggets. What I can tell you is that there hasn't been a single time I've used the drive thruwhere everything was correct or something wasn't missing. Just don't get caught out. Always check before leaving the drive thruafter any order no matter how big or small. Read more
Food was fine, drive thru experience....not so much. I understand getting vehicles through the line quick, but, doing it to the... point of being rude and just grunting and walking away from the car in front of us as she is asking a question....not good. Convenient location right off the highway. Quick service, and well prepared food. My burger actually looks appetizing, rather... than looking like a mess. Better than most McDonalds I have been to! Read more
I can request confusing orders and they don't mess it up, I can trust them to fulfill my order properly without double checking... at the window. They always have availability on basic items. Read more
