Giving 2 stars because of the nice, friendly young lady taking our order. Waited 20 minutes for two burgers and two fries. The... three orders in front of us all came back because they were wrong. Our order was wrong as well, took it back and it was stillwrong. The buns were hard and dry. One order of fries were good and the other was half cooked. Price, value and quality was verysub par. Wish I could say this is a one time thing. But urging from a friend to give them another try because we had a similarexperience two weeks earlier. We won?t try a third time, it was just that bad. Short staffed so you can?t take a phone order? You would rather me wait in your tiny shack instead of actually making money? Why... answer the phone if you aren?t taking orders. Makes no sense. With a band like Ray?s you can?t go wrong!! Lol!! Excellent food! Good portion size. Price is reasonable if not on the cheap... side. Ray?s is an iconic plane in Grand Haven! Been in the same location for 80+ years! Definitely worth stopping in! It getsvery busy and there is no indoor seating. Very small establishment but large on quality and service! Read more
The determination of the young woman who dropped her hat on the floor during our visit gets an additional star and that's about... all I can say for this place. If you are in a pinch and need sustenance then you could do worse but the food is generic andpretty bad considering what you pay and you could do way better just stopping by Gordon foods and buying the same stuff, cookingit yourself and getting like 7 to 10 meals for the same price. A single burger is like eating air and a double might feel likeit is in your stomach. The young people working there are pleasant enough but it really seems like this place needs an overhaulotherwise the "atmosphere" is seriously going to lose its appeal enough to turn into another empty business with absolutely noloyal customers. I've made better burgers half asleep and slightly intoxicated, not saying the cook is bad, but you can only doso much with what you have. You couldn't pay me to eat there regularly unless something was done about the quality. Read more
I grew up around Rays, and long for their fries. Unfortunately the economic times the burgers don't seem nearly as beefy as they... once where and the shakes have gotten smaller. It's disappointing, especially with the burgers. Also the bussiness seems alittle dead. Still I give them 5 stars because I got to (somewhat) relive a childhood memories with my daughter. Priceless. Hands down the best cod dinner I have ever had. So crispy and flaky just the right amount of batter. Large portions and pretty... reasonably priced. All of our other food was pretty exceptional as well. Came back for round two today because it was so good. Read more
Great place with great food me and my son loved our food orders. Atmosphere is hard to explain. The place is ment to push you... through as in one door and out the other. But it's not rude like. It's to help keep good food moving at higher pace. Read more
