I ordered the caprese salad. This was not what I had in mind, but sometimes a new twist can be interesting. The problem was,... while it looked good the tomatoes had no flavor and instead of basil there were sprouts on top. I asked our server, who was verygood, if that was correct and she said they do put sprouts on this. That's not what the menu said. To many small tomatoes thathave to be cut in half and not enough mozzarella to go around. Read more
The water view was really nice! We had dinner on the outside deck which we recommend. My husband had the jerk chicken burrito... which was really good. I had beef tacos which had a nice sauce The white chicken chili was the best! They have a lot of sushiitems, but we are not sushi fans so can't comment on how good they were. Recommend eating here. Food was great, view is beautiful. Our wait staff was super friendly. Best of luck to him as he heads back to college in a few... weeks! We had a lot of little ones and a large party and everyone was kind and polite. Very much appreciated! Read more
I?m not one to complain, but we were So disappointed.. ordered 2 Caesar salads with chicken. Most of the lettuce was brown,... with a tiny chicken breast.. Said something to our waitress, she comes back and said the kitchen says we just got this freshlettuce in today. Really? Does this look fresh to you? She proceeds to ask if we Would like a complimentary dessert? Afterwe just ordered a salad? No thank you. Some green lettuce would have been nice in our $40 salads. Read more
The salmon was the BEST!!! Absolutely phenomenal food, atmosphere & very sweet staff. My daughters kept complimenting how nice... the waitresses were. It was the perfect dinner spot for our vacation. Read more
Food was fantastic! Cocktails were refreshing! The only reason I dropped a star was for our initial service experience. We... walked in to no one at the host stand, which is totally fine as I figured they were busy. After 5 minutes of not seeing a soul,I walked around the corner to look in the kitchen window to see if anyone was even in the back. Much to my surprise, there was abunch of staff just standing looking at some snapchats on their phones. It took another 2 minutes before someone looked up tosee we were standing next to the door waiting. The host then came out, didn?t say a word to us, grabbed the menus and threw themon a table. BUT, I want to give SUPER HIGH PRAISE to Katie, our server. She went ABOVE & BEYOND after the initial reaction andchanged our whole experience for us. What a pleasant surprise! Was planning on another restaurant in Grand Haven, but it was full. We found this on Google. Had a... great time for our dinner. The raised channel view was nice. Nice views and service. Poke bowl was good but skip ordering the fish and chips. Fish was thin and dry probably over cooked.... Surprisingly so with the abundance of fresh local fish.
