We were driving around trying to decide where to eat for our anniversary dinner and decided on LJS as we hadn't been there in a... while. The food was excellent!! The manager Lynn is always a friendly face and she made us feel special when she heard it wasour anniversary. I think this place would fall apart without her as she is always working and doing multiple jobs. If anyonereads this, I hope you are paying her well to keep her around. Good help is hard to find these days and I would hate to seeanother LJS close as it is one of my favorite places. Read more
I like LJS. Food is good and service is great. Not exactly sea food but it tastes good. The manager is holding down the fort and... seems to be working 15 hours a day, 7 days a week. SHE DESERVES A BIG RAISE Read more
The Portions are getting smaller for The big Price Range, plus the chicken filets are super small what's up with that?!
They need to give the place a good cleaning, the bathroom door does not close properly and the deep fryers oil needs to be... changed. Read more
5 stars for service & food. Lady working at 4:30 in the after was by herself and handled both the drive thru & inside dining.... She was a rockstar. Super busy but still had great customer service. Read more
Food was extremely greasy. Fries not crispy and hushpuppies were all batter. Worst food I've ever had. It used to be good there.... Don't know what caused the quality of the food to go down. I'll be checking this place off my list of establishments that Iwon't go back to. Read more

So I used to love long john silvers as a kid but I also ate catfood as a child. Anyway I've not had ljs in probably 20 years. I... drove by today and my inner child screamed do it as my inner adult whispered this is a bad idea. My inner child won. I got ameal that had fish, shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and slaw. The slaw was...OK. it had a...mayo taste to it that was a bit offputting but I've had way worse. The fries were gross. Stale and bland with too many blackened ends. The shrimp was OK. Thebatter detracted way to much from the flavor of the actual shrimp the cocktail sauce was pretty dang good though. The fish wasawful. Talk about a greasy mess. I could feel my arteries clogging with each bite. The second piece wasn't entirely cookedproper so half the breading fell off which as actually a good thing. Half battered it was a bit better....a bit. The hushpuppies were of course still excellent. So overall I was pretty unimpressed my inner child is still curled up weeping. The worstpart is I know in several hours this greasy mess is going to destroy my guts upon its grand exit. I would only recommend thisplace to someone who considers fish sticks to be good seafood but no one else. The woman working the drive thru was veryfriendly.
