Food and drinks were good. But the service was very, very slow for us. Server blamed the kitchen. But that was only part of... it. I timed 23 minutes to get our drinks from the time we ordered. And only 3 of the 4 drinks came out. In all, we were therefor 2 hours and the place was not that busy. Read more
We went yesterday and all three orders were over cooked and then when we got home we both experienced stomach pains and the food... did not sit well with us. In response to Jennifer?s comment and the owners reply we did not order them well done or medium wealways order rare and we also realized that our waitress never even asked us the way we?d like our meat cooked. We came for an unexpected lunch after a long trip. We walked in after a full lunch crowd. We were informed right away it may be... a few minutes. Kelly, bartender was overly hospitable. I am born and raised in Germany and I have lived in the US for 10 years. I always try any German style beer wherever I go. And I... live in CO and we have a lot of breweries ;-) This is the FIRST brewery that mastered an authentic Altbier as well as Kölsch!And to top it off, their food is really great-fresh ingredients and great taste! Wanted to try this place on Saturday because we are new to town. Was seated at 2:50 on the outside patio. Checked out the menu... and visited...meanwhile someone cleared the table behind us....took an order and served the party next to us and at 3:10 (20minutes later) we got up to leave because we weren't even offered water and when we walked in to give the menu's back, 5employees were standing at the bar chatting.....I hope this was an anomaly because the vibe and menu seemed great....good luckgetting if you try this place! Good menu, really fine list of in-house brews. We especially like their stout, but the German Amber's are smooth and flavorful... too. Our waitress Dixie was awesome! Read more
