I probably only visit a Safeway like once a month, maybe twice?! I used to shop @ Safeway weekly when I lived in WA. Not sure... how the prices compare to Walmart, but if u do ur homework, I'm sure Safeway beats Walmart when it comes to some things?? Read more
Always super clean and friendly. Not ever super busy like Walmart. If your looking for a chill shopping trip this is it.
29 road Safeway. I don't come very often. But the past two times a certain employee was rude both times giving dirty looks and... talking to me like I'm stupid for asking a question. This past visit they had two registers open, both of them had multiplecustomers with full carts. Which is fine so I decided to do the self check out. And the lady came over to tell me I had too manyitems to scan for self check out.I started bagging my items and putting them in the cart since the baggage area obviously onlyholds few bags. She told me to get another cart and put my items in the other cart until I was done? So now I'm taking up extraspace with two cart's. She didn't even offer to get the other cart for me or help me bag or anything. Then looked annoyed at howlong I was taking. I felt rushed and they didn't care to help or be polite. Also I paid with my EBT and they require a employeeto come "assist" when you pay with EBT for some reason. They didn't offer help that whole time yet require the okay for EBT. Whyis it anyone's business if I'm using EBT the foods still paid for and obviously they watched me the whole time filling myrequired Second basket!! Rude and unfriendly. Read more
