I love This Little Diner / Ice Cream Shop. The girls always have me laughing abs are in a food moods which is nice when you?re... going to a happy place. The first time i was here they were wearing banana costumes and were singing ABBA tunes. It was quitefun and i have come back many times this year and have always had a great time !!! And that?s just standing at outside window. No telling how much fun you have if you went inside for a sit down !!! I think they would have your rolling on the floor withtheir silliness !!! I got a ?speciality? hot fudge brownie sundae for $6.00 (ridiculous) It was just a bowl of vanilla ice cream with a solid chunk... of brownie stuck in the side of the ice cream (not even at the bottom). As far as the hot fudge goes, there was no fudge. I washanded a cold bowl with three lines of Hershey?s chocolate syrup. When I asked the girl at the window why there wasn?t fudge shelooked at me like a catfish and said ?there?s fudge? and nothing else, so I walked away. My boyfriend went back for me, blesshis heart, and just told her to make a new turtle sundae instead. Lickity Split is cheaper, far better quality, and hascompetent employees. Read more
Yummy ice cream. Lots of flavor choices and frozen treat varieties. Sugar free options available including Dole whip. A little... pricey, but not bad for an occasional treat (probably comparable to other ice cream shops). Read more
I want to love this place. It?s locally owned and we can walk to it from our home. The ice cream is good but not for the price.... My biggest issue is the service. We have been here several times this summer alone and there have been long lines and only onewindow open. Not only do they never seem to have a second person working the second window, but the same person who is doing theordering is making the ice cream. It takes them about 15 minutes on average PER order, so if there are two groups (of 2 peoplelike in our case today) ahead of you, be prepared to wait 30 min just to get to the window. Don?t even bother going on theweekend or after a sports event unless you have all night to wait in line. Just waited 30 min for this half full waffle conethat cost $3.50. My son was disappointed. My family been here few times and this my first time visiting. Late afternoon, shade rolling in nice not standing in the sun and... I'm very satisfied the ice creams we chosen. Nice seating around outside and indoor too. There are adult and children benches.Kudos and five stars from me. Read more
