Check these guys out, you won't be disappointed. I have referred a few other people to stay here .We rented a deluxe cabin in... June of 2022. We stayed in the Hawk cabin. The cabin was nice and clean, comfortable and had the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Wehad our own private dock which was nice, we got alot of fishing in and even caught a walleye off the dock in the evening. Foodat the lodge was great, 3 of us ordered different things to try and they didn't disappoint. Good portion sizes, friendlyservice. The view from the back deck of the cabin over looking the lake was amazing. We didn't feel crowded like other peoplewere right on top of us, had plenty of space and privacy between cabins. There is a bait shop called ugly baby bait and boat upthe road not far from the lodge.... Great selection of bait and tackle... They will help you figure out what there biting on. Wedid alot of fishing, caught a ton of small mouth bass and even a walleye from the dock. Many memories were made, can't wait togo back again. Read more

Secret gem. Friday night and all restaurants were booked. We walked into the lodge and a nice lady said to head downstairs for... dinner. There were 6 people at the bar and two tables were eating dinner. The log cabin style dining room was beautiful andbright. The stools at the bar were really unique. We had the walleye tacos and they were delightful. We will be back! Read more

We didn?t stay here, we just came for dinner. Super friendly service at the bar. A husband and wife team working hard for us.... It was pretty busy on a Tuesday night as many other places along the gunflint are closed on Tuesday. Full bar plus craft beer. Burgers, apps, salads, and pizzas. The Reuben was delicious. Read more

An absolute gem! ?? My dear friends and I went vacationing along the Gunflint Trail. After a full day of hiking to waterfalls... and exploring trails, we came to Hungry Jack Lodge. Not only did we have the best food ever, (the walleye sandwich-orderit-YUMMM) the owner and staff provided us with the best evenings ever. Wonderful cocktails, fun servers, and camaraderie thatkept us talking and laughing for hours. This lodge is a slice of heaven with gorgeous views of the lake, the perfect fire pitand sitting area, the warmest sunsets, and amazing history. Forrest and the staff exceeded impeccable guest service andhospitality. YOU MUST VISIT if you have the opportunity. We are excited to visit again! Read more

Stopped by for lunch, in our group we had a huge salad, a cheeseburger, a BLT, and 2 other entrees. Food was delicious, ... hot food was hot, excellent service by Theresa. Our family ended the meal with a huge piece of chocolate cake with vanillabean ice cream. They were also very helpful with both my elderly parents and my brother in law who is in a wheelchair Read more

Had a private event and sat in the fireplace area. It was a very nice location. Food was fine, lots of great options. Service... was a bit slower because of our party size but overall I'd recommend this restaurant. They have live music too just haven't beenthere at that time. Read more
