I had a blast there! First time visiting and enjoyed myself from the time i arrived to leaving. My favorite part was watching... the sunset, it was beyond beautiful. The emplyees were very friendly, fun, funny and very customer service oriented. I wasthere for my friend's party on the boat that was filled with great food, drinks and music! I don't know if they were understaffed or what but if I could give zero stars I would. We were seated immediately. One of the... women was preparing a section that was to service a large group. We stopped in simply for dessert. It took about 10 minutes fora waiter to come to our table. Finally Jordan showed up gave us iced water, took our order and never returned. We sat there foran additional 20 minutes while we noticed him taking orders for a different large group of people. We finally decided to leave.Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. 1st of all I would like to say what a fantastic view however the menu.Was very minimal and may have shown us into the future as... their Food was very mediocre and limited. How could one order a simple Burger and it still come out dry when the waiter said itwould come out medium rare. One would think impossible no not the vegan Burger however if you're still reading this you maylike my story I would put 3.5 stars but it's either 3 or 4 To wrap up this review the food was blind. So disappointed. They recently renamed it from the oasis to the blue sunrise. Hope it would get better but it has just gotten so... much worse?. how do you not even have a piña colada? Ordered the fried shrimp ???? not good. Chips and salsa. Also not good. Ireally want this place to be good and I hope they get better. I live close by and pick the atmosphere is amazing. I was in the area for a reunion of college friends, and this was my first time at the Oasis. It was great! I started with an... old fashioned. It was very good. I had the catfish for lunch, and it was excellent, as were the two sides! The service was alsoexcellent. There's a lot of seating, and they have a beautiful wooden Bar! I joined a group for a birthday party out on the patio in late Aug. The servers were super busy but managed to keep up with us!... Dawanne was our server and he checked on us often and got our orders correct. The food was good and served fresh. The cocktailswere good and also served correctly. The DJ came on around dusk & we had fun dancing. Even small kids were dancing! Boats comeright up to the sides, which can be slightly noisy but not annoying. It's a busy place on weekends.
