I have eaten at Captain Ds in East Texas and in South Texas and really like the food. I ordered Catfish and Okra.. problem is... that the Okra, the catfish and the hushpuppies all taste exactly alike. Catfish is not seasoned at all. Huspuppies are lackingalso. The other captains Ds have awesome pinto beans, pickled green tomatoes and everything taste fresh. Most likely, I willnot return to this resteraunt. I have been to this and other Captain D's in the area. This was the best experience I've had so far. They greet you when you... enter and are very friendly. Then instead of calling your number, the bring the food to you. They also come by your table to seeif you need a refill on your drink. And the food was good too. Read more

My son went in close to 8:00 pm after a busy evening with his children to get a meal. His total was $30 but his card was debited... for $215.00. After waiting almost 2 hours for them to correct the error, they still charged him 50% the cost of the meal. Theyfinally refunded him in cash but his card still has a negative balance and this happened over a week ago. This is totallyunacceptable. After many years of supporting this establishment, it is a no for me in the future. I will tell everyone I knoweven if they don't ask. Many calls have been made but no one associated with Captain Ds has called my son with a resolution.Beware. Read more
Hey, everybody I hope everyone is having a blessed day today. Thank God we made another day right. I was so surprised that I... found a Captain D's nearby. We decided that we want to have lunch and it was on a Wednesday afternoon. We was greeted with avery friendly cashier she was so polite and had a very beautiful spirit. Is good to be able to tell our experiences at differentplaces that we go to on a daily basis good or bad. But we can't say this about Captain D's. I haven't been on I've been verybusy these days and I wanted just to tell our experience today at Captain D's. I'm very particular on my Foods especiallyrestaurants. I hope someone decided to go by and check them out they will be very satisfied with the service and the food aswell. The food is fresh and also the temperature is great. They do not serve nothing that's been sitting up and also theyfreshly cook it. What you should do if you never been there and you can go please give him a try and you'll find out yourself.You will be satisfied and I am not a dishonest person I always tell the truth because I do not want it to come back on me.
