I very much enjoyed my dinner at le caveau . The local is quite simple and I believe offers a terrasse in summer. The food was... quite good, I had several starters as a meal, oysters, scallops, and the snow crab risotto and the zeppole for dessert (agigantic portion). All dishes were quite good and balanced in terms of flavors. The service was efficient although the waittime between the dishes was a bit long (restaurant was half full). All that said, I would definitely visit this restaurantagain if in the area. Read more
A solid 9.8/10 from this tough critic! You really can't beat the ambiance and atmosphere that's created in this space. Recommend... the outdoor patio - it's cobblestone pathways and overhead grapevines are sure to please. Always happy to support local, themenu is on the small side but diverse and what they do, they do incredibly well. Prices are less than you'd expect for the howgreat the food and service is. Add in a fabulous drink and you've got yourself a wonderful day. Take your time and check out thelookoff/gathering point and sit in the paired Adirondack chairs there and take in yet another picturesque view. Thank-you LeCaveau for the perfect start to a weekend. We came for dinner several weeks ago and had a wonderful experience! It is an upscale restaurant with dishes (and prices) to... match, but we were happy to treat ourselves. We both had the tasting menu, with one modification generously made by the chef dueto dietary restrictions, and I had the wine pairings as well. Every course was delicious and paired excellently. We brought our small party of 10 to celebrate our wedding at Le Caveau. The food was delicious and everyone was pleased with... their choices. Everyone ordered trout or hangar steak - both were excellent! The staff were attentive and kind without beingintrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting. It was the perfect setting for our small, valley wedding. We'll be back to celebrate our anniversary. Can't wait! Read more
Beautiful outdoor terrace with great service. It was a cool day so they gave my wife a blanket and lit the propane heater making... it perfect! The food was also amazing. I had the fried chicken sandwich with garden salad. Will definately be back! Read more
Great food. Very good wine list. Had to sit inside due to rain. Patio looked lovely though. It's a small place and can get noisy... fast. Maybe better for dinner and a few drinks than something More intimate or romantic. Read more
Amazing experience did the four course meal and really enjoyed our time. Dishes were amazing , we had pumpkin ravioli made with... beat infused pasta garnished with roasted pine nuts, beef tartar, a very thick piece of fresh halibut cooked to perfection. Read more
