First time visiting Michigan and this restaurant. Had an amazing experience. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Excellent service... from the staff all around. Food was great. Portion size was the right amount where the appetizers didn't fill you up before yourmeal and the main course was plenty to enjoy. Food nicely seasoned and full of flavor. Would definitely recommend to anyonelooking for a relaxing place to enjoy drinks and a great meal. Read more
Bistro Bella Vita is located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. This restaurant has an upscale type atmosphere with a modest... price for what could be considered fine dining. The food was big on flavor using savory spices and seasonings. I enjoyed thePoulet De Provence, which consisted of a half rotisserie roasted chicken breast & leg, brown butter mashed potato, seasonalvegetables and chicken jus. I also had their half Ceaser salad. Calamari, Focaccia, Saffron Risotto, Housemade Rigatoni. Everything was amazing and the service was excellent too. Very busy... on Saturday for dinner but food was served quickly and tasted great. Would definitely recommend. They also have options forpeople with dietary restrictions! Read more
Great happy hour specials from 3 to 5 PM. Deep discounts. It’s still a little pricey, but the special makes it well worth it.... If you are low carb, try a pasta and substitute broccoli for noodles. Our waitress was friendly, the atmosphere was clean, andthe food was fantastic. Read more
If you are looking for quality food and service this is the place to go. They have daily specials aside from the main menu.... Service was top notch and plating was a work of art. Eating here is a bit expensive but but the quality is high. It gets busy onthe weekends so be sure to get reservations. Read more
Had a great date night here! Service was fantastic and the food was wonderful. The flavors are delightfully complex and yet... simple. Pictured is the Arugula salad with grilled chicken. We also had the Four Cheese Ravioli, Gnocchi, Beet Salad, andCauliflower Bisque. All of which we'd strongly recommend. To finish we had a regular espresso and they were able to make a decafespresso as well, and the Dark Chocolate mouse which was not too rich and well balanced. Read more
Our sever Mary was amazing! The food is authentic Italian so the menu is a little small. The pasta is home made tho, really... good. More of the sit down Aniversary or special occasions place. Very upscale place. Read more
Great experience here and the food was delicious. I liked a lot of the appetizers vs. my main. If I went back, I wouldn’t have... ordered the burger because the pizzas look ????. You know this immediately when you see the oven, it’s certified. Everyone wedined with raved about their meals and even returned again during our week stay here.
