Request Lynda. She is probably the best waitress I've ever had serve us. Quick, polite, efficient and coffee cup was never... empty. Highly recommend. Read more

I had the fried chicken meal and the honey Bacon as app, the bacon was thin chewy and hardly any honey pepper!!! Then the... chicken was extremely over cooked it was like rubber even the corn was even nasty!!! Only thing that was edible was mashedpotatoes and gravy and that was just ok!! I will never go again and recommend going to 76st dinner over that place it alsoseemed like we walked back in the 90s decor was outdated. Read more

Took 20 mins to get a table which is not unusual but it took another 15 mins until I flagged down Seth!! He was not in charge of... our area but he took our order and was very friendly and apologetic about what happened. He's the hero of the day!! The food wasmediocre at best. If Seth hadn't comes thru we were going to walk out!! He needs a raise!! Read more

Pretty standard Bob Evans experience. Checkout counter is at the bakery/takeout. Busy but not crowded. We were a group of three,... brought our onewheels and inside, putting them under our booth table without a problem. Food and service were good. Air vents inceiling were notably dirty. Read more

Came to have dinner with 2 children and mom. Always try to be patient as I work in the restaurant industry as well. First... problem was asking for a dinner salad before the meal, never happened. When food showed up the Mac and cheese was cold. Iordered the lil farmers breakfast for my kids and both their plates didn?t have potatoes, so I asked the waitress for thepotatoes. She asked ?oh you?d like those?? I said yes please. They never came. Had to go to the front for the pie that wasordered to go and to get the check since we sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting for her to come by. There were plenty ofother employees standing by the kitchen talking, that if she needed help should have. Read more

So it's way too early to be awake, and I'm here at the Bob Evans closest to my digs. With all the reviews I've read I have a bit... of trepidation stepping over the threshold, but it's nothing like I was led to expect. The place is brightly lighted, theworkers are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, complete with a clear greeting, happy smile, and purpose. The clientele is varied, both by age and socioeconomic strata. (I hear retirees and kids discussing adding NO2 to their cars' engines.) From the Bowls &Skillets section of the very large menu I pick The Everything Breakfast ("includes Bob Evans' sausage, hickory-smoked ham,hardwood-smoked bacon, three scrambled fresh-cracked eggs, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and hollandaise sauce on a bed of hashbrowns. Served with a freshly-baked biscuit.") because why not? The steaming, hot coffee arrives within moments, with a side ofhalf-and-half; the proffered French Vanilla creamer gets a thumbs-down. The coffee is tasty, has a great aroma, and staysdrinkable over the few minutes it cools. That, in itself, is a wonderful wake-up treat. The food arrives in less than fiveminutes. (Not something I usually clock, but given some of the whinging I've read, something I was considering.) It's a bigbowl, covered from edge to edge. Each element contributes its own flavor: the sausage is earthy, the ham is sweet and smokey, and the hollandaise goes well with the eggs and the meat. As I watch the shaved cheddar cheese melting I realize that I'm happyto be digging into something so hearty. It's not perfect. The hash browns should've had another half-minute on the griddle, thecold tomatoes are a discordant note that would've been better warm, and a big 'ol spoon would be a way better method ofattacking this open-faced omelette than the fork that I have. The biscuit is a bit confusing. It's dry. Why? I ask for somesausage gravy - which arrives in seconds - and things look up. The gravy is rich and the biscuit soaks up it's umami goo Read more

Quick, efficient, friendly service. The food was good, but not spectacular. All fresh and hot. We got the Sirloin Steak and... Chicken Fried Steak. Steak was a bit over done but still tender. Very nice salad. Would have liked a bit more gravy. Cleanand professional. Good choice for a quick dinner. Read more
