The food was very good, so many excellent choices and you can choose your heat on a scale of 0 to 5, I went with 2.5 and my... dinner guest went with 0. I loved the view of the Grand River while dining, and the restaurant was so quiet it was veryrelaxing. I had the Mango Lamb and Naan, and would order it again. I noticed that there were a lot of take out orders, but at6:00 P M. I was a little worried that we were the only 2 dining, another party of several people came in as we were leaving, Ihope this restaurant thrives because good Indian food, especially on my side of town is hard to find. Hopefully I will be backsoon. Read more

I gave them three stars for food and location only. I have to take one star because they had such poor service that it is better... to go somewhere else. And another star because they don?t have halal meat. We went there on Saturday around 6pm with the familyand ordered our food by 6:30pm. We got the appetizer in 40 mins and then there was another delay of 40 mins between appetizersand main course. By which time our children have had enough and we had had to hurry. Read more

Food is good if you actually get it. Been here for an hour and a half and placed the order two hours ago. No updates just... excuses and no refunds. Seriously?? So expensive. If I knew it would take this long for chicken and rice I wouldn't have come. Read more

We ate here a couple of weeks ago. The food was excellent. The physical plant was nice. You can get a table next to the Grand... River. Unfortunately the wait staff was kind of clueless, certainly not on a par with the food. The food itself would rate 5stars the wait staff at most 3 stars. With several other Indian restaurants in the area that are outstanding in all respects areturn trip might be hard to swing. Read more

I really wish I didn't have to give such a negative review to a local business that is clearly struggling (the place is always... empty and they've changed locations several times recently). Their food has always been outstanding, but I had such a negativeexperience recently that I felt it necessary to share. I ordered carry-out lunch for my staff of 11 people. This was a $300order with gratuity. After we picked it up and returned to our office we found several items missing. I called and restaurantand after some push back they agreed that they made a mistake some items had been missed. I made a second trip to pick up themissed items and the hostess informed me that they would only be providing me with some of what we were shorted because, "Thechef said he made that". I insisted that we were shorted a meal and one of my staff members didn't get a lunch. She justshrugged her shoulders. When I made it clear that I would be leaving the restaurant very unhappy and likely to provide anegative review she said, "not my business". As a customer service representative I would consider this 100% her business. Ifyou mess up my order and make me drive back to your restaurant to get the food you shorted me I would prefer you not call me aliar in the process. I'm not looking to scam anyone. I just want what I paid for. Or, at the very least some consideration formy trouble. It wasn't just the hostess either. The chef made a conscious decision to not replace the dish and instructed her totell me I didn't deserve it. Even the best Roganjosh is not worth dealing this such terrible customer service. I will not bereturning to Curry Kitchen. Read more

Update; I had to drop a star. While the food continues to be very good on the buffet, the afternoon staff is just consistently... subpar. They sit at a table on their phones and generally pay no attention to the customers. It's quite a shame because it'sprobably preventing us from coming back. Great buffet for lunch. High quality Indian Food. Would love to see it busier so itstays around! If you like Indian food, it wasn't too try it for the first time a buffet is a great option. Highly recommended. Read more

Lunch Buffet to-go! The food is amazing and authentic, and it is a cozy cute little restaurant. Looked like lots of locals know... and love the place! The owners were so sweet, kind, and friendly. They kept putting out fresh food for the buffet. Prices forlunch are very good! This whole box (Pictured) plus sides and large fresh container of naan bread was enough for 2 meals and wasbetter priced than any other Indian buffet I?ve been to in town. Thanks so much for this lovely place, bringing the culture andtaste of India to MidTown GR! Read more
