I would not even give a one star but I had to in order to write the review. Place is terrible. Used to be good in the 90s but... I don't know what happened. Fish was grey looking and soggy. Never seen a perch that was like 2 inches thick and soggy andgrey looking matter. I'm mad that I wanted my money here. It stinks as well. I know fish restaurants smell like fish but notthis kind d of fishy gross smell. Yuck, will NEVER GO there again. Read more

We were at Fat Mans today, Party of 6, all from out of town! One fellow grew up in the area and said he had been coming since... 1961 and highly recommended it! HE WAS RIGHT!!! Excellent fish/seafood, we all had something different and shared. I had theoysters and my wife had Frog legs!! Both big, meaty, and tasty. WOW...WOW... We'll be back! Went in for smelt use to have them as kid ..god mother use to buy them..but i changed. when saw they offered alligator..bad idea... got home ate 1 it was a salt ball...woke up thought about my 25.00 five being tip and took it back..they accomodated me withrecook and thru in smelt free of charge..food looked ok..the smelt not like i remember to much batter .i guess since the paperwrap..went away for me so did the great TASTE...THE FOOD IS BACK I.
