Our 1st and last time going to Freddy's steak burgers in Grand Rapids was horrible the service was horrible we ordered at 5:06... PM and never received our order at 5:54pm there was no remorse by the staff in that order was never attempted. Good Pumpkin Pie Concrete Shake, but that's about it. If you change your order in any way they do not do it. On our receipt it... was accurate, but what we received did not match the changes we asked for. For instance, the shake shouldn't have had whippedcream, but it did. My stepdaughter ordered the grilled chicken sandwich without tomatoes and with mayonnaise-- extra tomatoes(5)and no mayo. My fiance asked for extra ketchup in the bag and napkins-- no ketchup and maybe four napkins and his burger waslukewarm. I'm hoping that it was just an off day for them. Been here only three times in my life, due to location. But first two times was amazing. The cheese curds are excellent. This... time however, cheese curds were put into the bag as a gooey clump. So much I burnt my fingers on melted cheese. They replacedthem, but instead of a sincere apology, I got a, ?well sometimes they?re gooey, and sometimes there not? excuse. Nice eatery. At first glance I thought it would be similar to Culver's, but while the food is somewhat similar the feel is... actually quite different. Not bad, just different! The service was quick and the food was gooood. That being said, if you'relooking for store-made root beer, you should stick to Culver's - only the Mug-brand variety here. Read more

Best prices for a family or people on a tight budget. The staff here are not overly friendly, but courtesy. We usually dine in... the last few times we have been here we have notice that the dining room lacks attention. Tables and floors dirty. An what lookslike a dirty old towel under the pop machine there to catch a leak. We haven't gone back for a couple weeks got me thinkinghow sanitary are they in the kitchen? I have brought this to the attention of the staff and even a young lady that I was toldwas a manager. Freddys is so good! I?m not usually a burger person but I would definitely come back for these burgers. The fries are thin and... long, and are well seasoned. The fries are definitely the best part of the meal. If you come you have to get a shake as well.10/10 Read more
