We had a great first experience here! Our server gave us recommendations and answered many questions for us about the South... Indian special dishes. We got Hyderabad Dum Biryani, Hyderabad Masala, and Poori Masala. We also received a free taste of ricekheer dessert at the end. Read more

Best Indian restaurant in Grand Rapids!!! I've tried all Indian restaurants in GR, many times over and can confirm this is one... of the best, if not the best. Location is great, prices were great, food portion was great and overall the food was absolutelydelicious. Keep up the good work!! Update (Late March 2022): The restaurant had change in management recently and their serviceis even better now. Food continues to be absolutely delicious. After trying most of the other desi restaurants in GR, I think this is the best place for desi food here. We tried the Bhai Dum... Biryani (lamb), Grand Special Biryani (chicken), Chicken Rogan Josh and Chicken Afghani followed by Gajar halwa and Masala Tea.Both the biryanis were delicious with distinct flavors and taste that transported us back home. The Rogan Josh and chickenAfghani paired great with the Tandoori roti and garlic naan. Masala teas at the end were a perfect end to the meal. Great staffand clean seating area. 12/10 One of the worst food ever, the so called ? Biryani? is not biryani at all. Same rice for veg, chicken, paneer, & goat ,... 0 flavor & 0 salt. Veggies in the biryani are not cooked. Goat in Dum biryani is loaded from curry ??????? $200 worth food is anutter disappointed. Not one dish is good ????. No consistency. Chicken 65 is crispy & delicious.
