What a clever concept! Here you’re able to order drinks from the bar, food from somewhere nearby, and select a game to play... from the largest board game collection around. It can get pretty busy so I’d recommend a reservation. They have almost anygame you could think of as well as plenty of pencils and paper to use while playing. Paired with an extensive cooler ofeverything from beer to soda and chocolate milk, you’re able to bring the whole family together for a new game night away fromhome. Read more

House Rules Lounge is not a place for Lounge Lizards unless that's your game. Featuring hundreds of board and card games you can... borrow while playing, you can play with yourself or a number of companions. Larger groups might want to make a reservation. Ifyou like one of the games enough, you can even purchase one. In fall of 2022, House Rules has lots of beverages to purchase. However, food offerings are very limited. Management said a kitchen is planned. Until then, you can bring your own food. Read more

Went here for the first time (for a double date) and it was awesome! They have several fridges of non + alcoholic drinks (big... variety), but beyond that they have a bar with mixed drinks AND ROOT BEER ON DRAFT! Not sure anyone but me will be this excitedabout that. There's a large selection of games (new + old), free to play but also brand-new for you to buy and take home afterplaying. I will definitely be coming back. This was a perfect place to break the ice or just chill out. Thanks for a greattime! Read more

$5 cover charge per person for three hours of play. They allow you to bring food in. They sell cocktails, local brews, cans... drinks, and some non-alcoholic options. Primarily a bar. The cover charge allows you to borrow games to play. They have events(e.g. Tuesday nights are Eurogames). Out of the box is a more family friendly option, but this location is great for the 21plus crowd that is looking to drink and play. Read more

Great spot for a date night- wife and I were super impressed. Great atmosphere and clean. Saw kids there so must be kid... friendly. Huge wall of games to try out. Huge wall of drinks in the fridge to try out. TVs or bar seating for when you lose andyour friends keep playing. Good to see people out and having fun. Adult games section is separate and labeled. Well worth the $5per person charge. Definitely will continue to come here after getting kicked out of Downtown Market at 7 when it closes. Read more

This place is fantastic! You can bring your own game(s) or play one of the many games they have here! I discovered a new game I... really enjoyed the last time we were here. They have a meet and greet night too where they encourage you to gang up with otherpeople you don't know to play games together. They have a great selection of drinks both alcoholic and non. Mostly local! Youcan bring your own food and they have a small selection of snack food. The only thing it is lacking, in my opinion, is a betterfood selection. You can also buy games and other things here like packs of magic cards, for example. Overall, super fun placeto hang out, make friends, and drink. Read more

Loved the vibe here! The atmosphere was amazing, the workers were so informational and helpful. Grabbed a couple drinks from the... fridges and played a quick game for an hour. It was worth the $5pp gaming fee to be there and I haven’t had a red pop in alooooong time. Yum! Read more

Huge selection of board games in really good condition & they have a lot of them available for sale as well which is nice if you... want to "test drive" a game. Also a great selection of canned & draft beer with non-alcoholic options as well. Feels very wellorganized & it's a great concept! Read more
