I went there and was the only person there. (I'm Muslim and wear hijab) and he started being so creepy with me. Asked me where... my husband is, asked how much money I have. Told me Muslim women love him and he has many Muslim girl friends. Told me he ismarried but does not care because love is love. Told me about massages he gives other women and tried to give me he cell phonenumber asking me to text him. Told me he likes me a lot and I'm very sweet. If you're a single woman I do not recommend evergoing in there alone. I asked for a to go box and left. And $30 later I can't even eat my food because I feel so disgusted Read more
I moved to Holland, MI area recently and come to Grand Rapids for Indian food. I have tried out a few Indian restaurants in GRR... area but the food and services at India Town are exceptional. Tony and his wife make the best, fresh, tasty, authentic andconsistent high quality food compared to other places in Grand Rapids. Try it out once and you will come back only here everytime. Sometimes my wife and I love this place and sometimes it's so so. When the food is on point, it's the best Indian food in Grand... Rapids. When the food is so so it's like eating a microwaveable Tasty Bite brand Indian meal. Lately it's been on the lower endof the scale. We think it's time to find another spot because the quality isn't worth the price anymore or at least the foodisn't consistent enough for us to get anymore (we eat out once a week). Tony catered our daughter's graduation party and everything was perfect! He delivered and setup all the food, made sure we had... everything we expected, timing was right on and it was a TON of food. It is on the pricey side, but everyone at our partycommented on how delicious it was, so well worth it I think. Definitely making this place a go-to for Indian food in GR. Read more
This is the BEST Indian food in town, hands down. My husband and I love Indian food and have frequented many places in the... greater GR area, some places we've really enjoyed and unfortunately a few have gone out of business. We used to live nearbyIndia Town (walking distance) and went frequently. We moved to another part of town 10 years ago and while we don't go as often,the food never disappoints! We recently ordered take out for a date night in after our kids went to bed and were both so happywith the meal. We get a couple of appetizers and split a meal and there is more than enough food for us (we have leftovers,too). Read more
