Great place for Saturday lunch. Even though the place was full, four of us were seated right away. Good service. Thanks,... Courtney. Booths with high backs so we could easily chat. Loved the absorbent cloth napkins. We had a Denver omelet, avocadosandwich, a wrap and the Matchbox Burger with their own sauce. Both hand-cut fries and sweet potato fries were excellent. Allwere tasty and we sent back empty plates! Their Old Fashion had a rock candy swizzle stick. What fun! Read more

Yet another great experience at the Matchbox Diner. This place never disappoints! It's everything you could ever want in a... classic diner. They have bar seating, cozy booths and tables. The food is excellent-whether you're looking for classicbreakfast items like pancakes and omelets or tasty sandwiches-they have it all! They also have a decent selection of wine, beerand cocktails. Attentive staff and LGBTQ friendly. You must visit the Matchbox next time you're in GR! Read more

The service was awesome and friendly. My beer came in a frosted mug! The food was okay. When I ordered chips and cheese, I was... expecting melted shredded cheese not liquid cheese product like you get at a movie theater or concession stand. The chickensandwich and burger had good flavor but were cooked to an inch of their life and dry. I would go back, but would suggestswitching to real cheese and adding lettuce/tomato to your chicken sandwiches and burgers and not cooking all of the moistureout of them. Read more

Matchbox diner is a great little spot in Easttown. Rustic, with a warm ambiance... they serve a mix of hearty and tasty cuisine.... We had the poutine to start off .. Crispy fries with a deep flavored gravy and fall apart roast beef! My wife had the best clubsandwich either of us have ever tasted. I think the bacon was the star of the show. I had the Easttown salmon salad. The salmonhad a crust on it to die for. Absolutely perfect. My daughter had the Pasta Bianco. It was great. I think the food, theatmosphere, and the friendly service won us over. It was a bit pricey. We ordered a fourth entree to go, so we could try theJumbalaya. Our bill was almost $100. But, you get what you pay for, right? Worth a visit for sure! Read more

Visited this spot after 4 of July and it was bussyyy. We had to wait almost an hour to get seated and almost 40 minutes for our... food BUT... the staff... was amazing. Our host was extremely welcoming and apologized for our wait multiple times. Our serverchecked in on us regularly and updated us on the status of our food. Whatever they lacked due to being too busy, they made upfor in hospitality. To top it off they knew the service was rough and gave us a discount. Awesome. Read more
