We were excited to have dinner and drinks at Max's because we have heard great things! The atmosphere very comfortable and... mellow, which I loved. It is very well decorated and thought out, which adds to the mood. The people that own this placereally put the time into it to make it unique. The drinks are creative and complex for sure and the staff has a goodunderstanding of the drink and food menu. Well done! The food, although good, it wasn't amazing. Maybe I am too picky, or mytastebuds has an "off night". That being said, we will absolutely go back! Overall, Great Job! Read more
I came here with my wife and we didn't know we needed reservation and even tho it was a Saturday night the host at the door... managed to get us in after a brief wait. It was pouring outside and he was kind enough to find us some shade lol. We had to sitat the bar but still it was a beautiful atmosphere. Staff was great and although it was packed our food came real quick and itwas delicious. You gotta have the lump crab Rangoon oh boy I could eat that alone. Our bar tender was exceptional. I forgot hername but she had short hair and she was so fun to chat with and she always had our drinks on point. We will definitely come backthe next time we're in Grand Rapids. We loved it. Read more

Where to begin. This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. They had FABULOUS decor and music choices, INCREDIBLE... food and WONDERFUL service - Justin was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what to recommend. This is truly a MUST-SEEdestination.
