Tried this place for the first time not once BUT TWICE YESTERDAY! Had some for lunch and loved it so much we had to go back and... try some more for dinner! They were definitely busy both times we went.. and let me tell you I can see and taste the reasonswhy????! First even though they were so busy the red headed girl upfront was very polite and patient answering all ourquestions and making suggestions on things we should try And the cooks let me tell you the girls know what they are doing! Thefood was cooked perfectly! And seasoned well both times! But I will say that the cook that worked the earlier shift was myfavorite because I had asked that they just season our food anyway they wanted and she did not disappoint! ???? only wish Iwould have remembered to ask what seasonings she used. Wow!!! Absolutely delicious. I just started working on this side of town, I needed to find a place for lunch. After trying a... bunch of places, I finally found one! The wings were excellent. The lady at the counter was very nice and accommodating. I onlywish I got more than I ordered. I wanted to eat more and more! Awesome size wings. Can't wait to try more things from thisrestaurant. This is THE secret spot for all of Grand Rapids and I?m so glad I found it. When I have friends from out of town we get the best... wings here. However, they have me hooked on their fried mushrooms with garlic Parmesan. I?m officially addicted come here abouttwice a week for them or anytime I want to treat myself. Prices are still extremely reasonable in spite of costs going upgenerally & would cost about the same to make myself, so, here I am raving because I?m hooked. Where do I even start? I've never been so disappointed with my food from somewhere before. Got chicken and waffles and some... wings . The wings were greasy and rubbery. The "waffles" were more like deep fried grease patties. The grease was DRIPPING out.The fries were were as flexible as gummy worms and just plain terrible. Also the chicken and waffles doesn't come with syrupjust a heads up. The total was over $40 and it all got thrown away. Try to support small business, but will never return here.0/10 wouldn't eat here again if you paid me. Only got 1 star because 0 wasn't an option Save your money or go somewhere else. Read more
Absolutely disgusting. Waffles are deep fried and so fried that oil just spills out of them when you pick them up. No syrup... comes with chicken and waffles. Wings tasted like fryer oil and had a chewy and rubbery texture. French fries were so old andsoggy they couldn't even stay upright. Almost $50 worth of food went right to the trash. I DO NOT recommend this place at all.Please, I'm begging you, don't waste your time or hard earned money here. I would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. Read more
I have sampled a lot of gizzards and the gizzards here are very good. The mango habanero sauce was perfect. I was also... pleasantly suprised by the fog legs. They had a light garlic pepper coating and cooked just right. Definitely will be going badto try more items and sauces. Read more
