While on a drive my husband and I decided to go through the drive through to get some dinner to eat on the drive home. My... husband got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and loved it. It was very spicy and flavorful. I went with a 3 piece friedchicken with fries and a lemonade. The 2 thighs and leg were some of the best fried chicken I've had in awhile, the fries werefull of flavor, the biscuit was buttery and delicious and the lemonade was delightful. Popeyes always seems to be the worst managed restaurant. Staff wasn't friendly. We sat at the place to order and no one ever... said anything for minutes. They always run out of stuff. And the food is iffy. The one thing they do really well is the Mac ncheese. Read more
Placed order online 30 minutes before close, got to drive though 25 minutes before close. Was told they couldn't fulfill our... order because they weren't going to fry more chicken this close to closing. Drive thru at this point was around the building. Unfortunately, I had to throw my entire meal away from this place. The food was awful. Reason #1 the fries had too much grease,... the batter had hints of fish grease. The fries were unbearable to eat. Trash. #2 the chicken had way too much grease and noflavor. The meat was way too dry and flavorless. Trash. #3 the fish, stunk. Meaning, I don't know if the oil was left out toolong or if it was uncooked. But the smell lingered in my vehicle even after 45 minutes. It was busy in the dinning room area and the drive thru. My fiance and I waited a very long time. Yet,It was worth it. My... fiance and I needed a cheerful dinner time together. Thank you very much. In that the young lady was nice at first. Yet,WhenI realized that everything was packed to go,When my fiance and I specifically said"Dine in ". Then I had one kind question.Could you please give me two plates? She didn't answer me. She was cold and rude. My fiance said"I can get plates out of thecar." I said "No I have a question. This is a positive post with a friendly suggestion to those after me.....My wife, youngest son and went to grab a snack after... church (Bread of the World Church) and ordered a popcorn a shrimp meal. The order was taken quickly, the food was hot out thegrease, BUT there was more batter piece that shrimp in the 'handful' portion size that was $10. I would highly recommend thisplace based off of all my other great experiences but steer clear of the meal mentioned above if your looking for the biggestbang for the money! Read more
