My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at the Reserve. The food was incredible l, the drinks and wine were impeccable,... but what made our evening truly spectacular was our server Aiden. Reserve is now on my go-to list for Grand Rapids. Very fun dining room on the first floor if you're interested in a great night... with a group of friends. The second floor dining is more private and quieter if that's what your looking for. There was agreat set of options for this of us that were meat eaters and vegetarian. The wine list is very complete and you'll definitelyfind something you like. Thumbs up all around. Read more
Our first time at Reserve was made all the more memorable by the fantastic staff and great food. We came for the Summer Happy... Hour charcuterie & drinks special and it did not disappoint. Kudos to the chef Luke, who was in the kitchen that night. Theoutdoor dining was such a terrific ambiance, as well. Not to exclude anyone but our server Chris and hostess Olivia couldn'thave been more accommodating and agreeable. We mention those two because regretfully we'd forgotten the names of the others whowere also attentive, personable and professional. Our experience at The Reserve was worth every penny. While staying in Grand Rapids for the night visiting from Chicago we were... treated to outstanding service from our server Alyssa. She had so much sophisticated knowledge and passion for everything on themenu. The charcuterie was the best I’ve had options we cannot find in Chicago. Also the wine selection can’t be beat. I’m not even sure where to start? This is an amazing restaurant! Everything from start to finish was top notch. The wait... staff was friendly and helpful with our experience. The location is not good for me as I live 250 miles away, but it isprobably great for anyone who happens to live nearby. If I lived nearby I would love to go at least daily! The food isunbelievable. Of course we shared around the 4 entrees and every bite of every dish was mind blowing yummy goodness. Mytruffle burger was the best burger I have ever had! The whole night it was a nice, quiet atmosphere. Light, trendy music in the background. Our server was really friendly and... knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Our food was beyond exceptional and everything was delicious. So food is 5 stars,service was 5 stars, and I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good, high end experience! Read more
We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary at Reserve Wine & Food and had an amazing time! We sat on the patio on a beautiful... night and enjoyed every dish. I know many restaurants are currently understaffed at the moment, but you couldn't tell here. Thepace of the dinner was perfect - we never felt rushed, but never felt ignored. As season ticket holders for Broadway Grand Rapids' 2021-22 season, my partner and I have been wanting to try Reserve (one of... their restaurant partners) all year. I'm glad we got a chance to try the food, but do not feel welcomed back. Our primaryserver greeted us with "Welcome, friends!" and was very nice, conversational, well-versed in the menu, etc. Drinks & entreescame and went without issue. When the check came, we mentioned that we wanted to redeem a 20% off offer from Broadway GrandRapids and our server's demeanor took a complete turn (stopped smiling and referring to us as "friends," spoke few if any wordsto us at that point).
