I absolutely love the salad/soup bar but don't expect a Michelin Star experience; it's just your normal, classic soup and salad... taste. The amount of options you have for the unlimited option is adequate and it'll fill you up if you stack it pretty good.The waitresses are average every time we visited with them doing their job well but nothing outstanding. Been coming here in the mornings with my mom and we love it. The food is always delicious and it's really laid back and quiet... inside. *cozy* We usually have the server Monica and we love her so much. Ordered breakfast carry out as soon as they opened. It wasn?t the best. This is my second time here. The first was amazing. This... one on the other hand not so much. My potatoes were over cooked so was my eggs. My pancake tasted like they just warmed it up ina microwave. Biscuit was so hard my boyfriend couldn?t break it in half. (You could tell it was a frozen biscuit that wasmicrowaved to long) all and all it was a disappointment. If u want great breakfast I suggest taking the extra couple of minutesto drive to down the road to Westsider Cafe. Read more
First visit to a Russ's. And "I'll be back!" Nice entryway/lobby. Clean store. Smelled fresh and clean as well. Friendly... greeting from the hostess. Monica was my waitress. She has a nice way about her. "Welcoming" would be a good descriptive. Verypleasant. She answered all my questions and I settled on the Meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/Russ' gravy, and whole kernel corn.Dish arrived hot and as ordered. Meatloaf is not served with ketchup on top or baked on but rather, a kind of bbq (but moresweet than tangy) sauce on the side. It was a very good compliment to the meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were absolutelywonderful. If you wanted, you could call them more of a dessert..... That beef gravy was So Good! Monica explained that boththe gravy and sauce for the Meatloaf are in-house recipes. This was a surprisingly filling meal. I took quite a few pics andadded pics of the entire menu for you folks benefit. Monica was continually diligent, keeping my coffee cup full and the goodfriendly atmosphere present. In fact, she has a Magic Wand that is guaranteed to remove all calories from the desserts....so Iopted for the Blueberry Pie because she said you actually can Lose any weight you gained from the meal, by enjoying the pie! Large and quite pretty inside. Every Russ' I've been to always has excellent food. Their omelets are usually the best over other... restaurants. Today's wasn't quite as good, but it was still good. Coffee was amazing. All the other food was great as well andwe got it SUPER fast! Staff was friendly. We went early on a Saturday morning and there were not many people. Definitely worthgoing.
