Recently attended a Slipknot concert at Van Andel in Grand Rapids and my wife and I took our daughter out to eat before the... concert. She directed us to Stella?s Lounge in downtown GR. Upon entering the graffiti decorated bar we heard Devo?sUncontrollable Urge was playing on the sound system. This was followed by Iggy Pop?s I Want To Be A DOG. I knew this was mykinda place . I had the Plain Burger with Pepper Jack and Chronic Fries. PBR on tap tasted fresh and clean. The bar staff was great. The lady... who brought my burger from the kitchen was adorable and sweet. Good music, but the volume was low enough to carry on aconversation. I?ll be back. Read more
Amazing burgers, fries and onion rings. Inventive stuffed burgers on the menu with many to choose from. They also offer many... vegetarian/vegan options which my beloved greatly appreciated. Great dipping sauces. Long list of draft brews and cocktails.Awesome interior with eclectic murals throughout the bar. They have outdoor seating as well. Stella?s is a unique spot in GR with a decent menu and drink selections. They?re burgers are very good and their fries have a... unique seasoning that stands out from most other restaurants in the area. There are some fun games like pinball and Pac-Man toplay while you wait. They definitely get busy quickly and can frequently have a very long wait. Luckily, with their outdoor barand seating you can get drinks while you wait. Read more
Decent crowd for a Tuesday night. Excellent burger! Loved the chronic fries. Will have to try one of their vegan menu items... next time.
