We had a great time at The Green Well! Their space is very inviting and modern, with a well spaced out dining room. With a menu... full of options (including many healthy choices) it?s hard to go wrong. I don?t think I?d come here to order something classiclike chicken tenders when there?s so much more creative and unique options on the menu. And what?s great is you?ll leave herefull, happy, and feeling great after having eaten a better-for-you-than-the-usual meal! Everything was super delicious. I got the Elote salad and light switch. Also had some truffle fries that where super yummy! They... had basil on them and where nice and salty with a garlic alloli sauce. Had such a fun evening here. We sat outside and it wasjust so nice and relaxing. I would definitely go back. Read more
I'm not really impressed with this restaurant. The food is okay for what you pay for it. Not bad, but not great. The wall decor... is confusing and it seems as though this place doesn't really know what theme they want. We stopped into Green Well after business for dinner. Unfortunately we just missed happy hour (goes until 6pm Tues. - Fri.). We... had been here a couple of times, but it's been years. I forgot how good their food is...it was delicious!! We had the goatcheese appetizer (not pictured), the black bean stew and the beef bulgogi. Service was great! Stopped in for happy hour and especially enjoyed the warm goat cheese dip. The drinks were simple but well done. It seems like... they have a good amount of specials throughout the week, so definitely worth stopping in! Nice staff, super reasonable waits for food etc. Convenient Eastown location and good parking out back. Varied selection re food... and drinks, but the food is a bit hit or miss. Great and popular fries, warm goat cheese app was popular at the table. Chickentenders tended bit overdone. Burgers were pretty disappointing, esp at the price: beyond the char, lacking in flavor(seasoning), and unpalatable frequent connective tissue. At basically 100 for a table of 3, while I would pop in for a drink andan app, I don?t think its a compelling offering on quality versus price. Read more
Not very impressed by the menu choices. Seems like they offer low brow plates but try to market themselves as a more upscale... establishment. Having said that, what I did eat was delicious. Soo good! I?ve been here countless times and it never disappoints. Pricey but consistently great quality food and large... portions. The only thing I?ve ever gotten that I did not like is the chicken strips (chewy and tough for $18). Everything else,including the service, is 10/10. Update: Green Well is always excellent.
