Came for an early dinner on a Saturday, ordered the mushroom burger with fries, two others had the walleye and another had the... chicken tenders. We also ordered the reuben eggrolls, which were so good. The spots near the windows offer a sunset view of thelake and the island with the goats. Great service always checking on drinks and food quality. Read more

Great place to eat. Had the sirloin and Asiago shrimp and it was really really good. Not half bad price wise, too!

We decided to try this restaurant because it appeared that they had a lot of appetizer options and that is what we wanted as... dinner tonight. We shared three appetizers and all were delicious (walleye fingers, Italian nachos, and Reuben egg rolls). Wehad a lot of leftovers that we will finish at lunch tomorrow because everything was so good. Prices were reasonable, portionswere large, and the food was great. I also want to mention that our waiter, Joel, was very attentive and friendly. We willdefinitely come back when we return to the area. Read more

In our opinion, rudest wait staff we've encountered in a long time. Could not get waited on at bar or table. No service in lieu... of exceptional service. It was busy & unfortunately our wait person seemed very frazzled. Also, a person with us ended up withdressing or sour cream all over the back of her jeans from back of chair. Best part of the night; ended up leaving here & goingto Grand Rapids Eagles for dinner. Great food, drinks & professional staff that knew how to wait on paying patrons whenestablishment is very busy. Again our opinion, Pickled Loon staff could use some pointers from Eagles staff.. Read more

Staff- 4 stars Food- 2 stars Came on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't busy. It was a seat yourself and that wasn't bad. Plenty... of ample space. Had my two dogs with so we sat outside on their patio. The severs were friendly and fantastic. Then food was allright. The medallions was probably the best thing we ate even though the sauce could haven been reduced a lot more. We alsoordered chicken strip and fries and I don't think they changed the oil at all. Or at least use different oil for chicken stripsand fries because it tasted heavily of fish. Read more

The service was Bad.. We waited forever for our food, waitress didn?t refill beverages.. I think she forgot to put in our food... order, because people who arrived after us got their food Way before we did. When we finally got our food, waitress didn?t evencheck in to ask if we needed anything (and we did need extra plates & ketchup). Empty beverages & she never asked if we wantedmore. We sat & waited to pay the bill, too.. finally bringing it up to the bar ourselves. The place wasn?t even busy at thatpoint! Our waitress was cleaning. Mark this down as mediocre food & some of the worst service I?ve ever experienced.. and I usedto be a waitress, so I get that it can be a difficult job & I do have grace for people working in the service industry. But thisexperience was absolutely awful service.. no excuse for it. Read more

A friend recommended The Pickled Loon Saloon - and we?re so glad we ate here. We?ve now eaten here twice. The first time was... takeaway and the second time was dine in. The atmosphere is laid back and upbeat, while the staff is helpful and friendly. Thedrinks are cold and delicious - especially cocktails like the Roosevelt Relaxer (pictured). And then there?s the food: justabsolutely delicious. The fried pickles are a specialty, the burgers are tasty and the lava cake is flat out decadent. The wholemeal was very satisfying. We look forward to becoming regulars here! Read more

Kayla our server was amazing. She was so attentive even though it was busy. Cleanliness, i give it a 1 star. Menu's were... sticky, the first table the hostess tried to set us at had something stuck to the table, she never did get it off, so we weremoved to another table. But the next group that came in got sat at the same dirty table, even though it wasn't clean. Thehostess also sat people very close together. There were open tables, we didn't need to be so close together. The food was ok.My coworker had the Reuben, which he said was amazing. I had the recommended Prime rib melt and i wasn't impressed. Thesandwich itself was dry, the cup of au jus was only a 1/4 filled. My sandwich couldn't even touch the liquid. And my frieslooked the bottom of the fry bucket thrown together to make my plate. Lots of little pieces with various stages of doneness. But i think the picture speaks for itself. Read more
