I came down from the room and had coffee before my spouse woke. He came down and we waited 30 min and 4 I will be right with you... comments just to have my husband not even get a cup for coffee. He had to drink out of mine. We left after 45 min and orderedroom service in hopes of getting the complimentary breakfast. We proceeded to wait 45 more minutes before we gave up and had togo find breakfast somewhere else. Not impressed with the service at all. Read more

Food is over priced and the servers are inexperienced. I order a steak sandwich rare with no cheese and a garden salad... instead of fries. The first offering came with cheese and fries. The women looked like she was going to refuse to take itback. Second one came well done and so thin it would have been impossible to do rare and still had fries. No veggies at allwere offered. . The steak tasted ok. I did not eat the fries or the bun which was huge. I ate the steak as it was nowafter 7 pm and I had not eaten since 10AM. I asked for Earl Grey tea. I was served English breakfast. I was notimpressed. One could tell the serving staff were trying hard. They were very inexperienced but friendly. They wereobviously struggling I will not be recommending this place for dinner. It will probably be ok if you want to go in for adrink. I gave them one star only as 1/2 star was not available. Ordered room service from the Podollan. Overly sauced ribs, no veggies on the plate, side salad with wilted spinach, half a... tomato and couple pieces of cucumber. Order the kids chicken fingers, safest option ;) Good thing my hotel bed is comfy. Read more

Whatever happened to superb breakfast spread at JAX? Staying at Podollan was always extra nice with the great breakfast at JAX.... From pastries, fresh fruits, yogurt, hot breakfast, to fresh omelet made in front of you. But now? Wow. Not so much. Was ashock TBH when we stayed there on the weekend, came down for "awesome" breakfast, and they handed us papers of menu. Yep, paper,from a photocopier. We brought 2 family members with us, boasting about JAX, but ???????????? Needless to say we didn't expectit at all. We asked one of the staffs, and she said since last year - no more buffet style, as guests preferred this way, notold food on the buffet dishes. That actually doesn't make sense ????
