We were in GP this weekend and wanted a dining experience. We were very impressed with The Sawmill and thier food. My wife’s... prime rib was cooked perfect to her liking the Yorkshire and veggies were absolutely spot on. My rack of lamb was again cookedto my order, everything was delicious. The dessert a chocolate dome was impressive and so delicious. GP has a golden restaurantand it’s The Sawmill. Even the wait staff, everyone of them were spot on. Professional service all the way! Food was delicious. Had the 7oz sirloin center cut with the 5 1/2 oz lobster tail. My wife had... a steak with seafood Oscar. The Oscar was tasty however needs a little improvement in terms of the amount of seafood in relationto the sauce. A few more pieces would have made a huge difference. The prices are on the higher side however to be expected interms of type, style and location of restaurant. Overall I do recommend giving it a try. Better than average food, great servers everytime I go but you pay for it. I usually get the Prime rib when I go here. They cook... it the way I ask for it. I like the horse radish and the Yorkshire pudding is delicious. I should stop ordering the 13oz steakthough to much food to handle. Order an 12 oz prime rib from door dash and the rib was so hard I can’t even bite it. I tied to use steak knife to cut it and... it didn’t even cut through. I called the restaurant and the manager said I don’t see your food and I can’t take your wordfor it……. Can’t believe that’s how they deal with complaints and how they treat the customers! So total order costs me$48.63 went down to the drain. Read more
