We normally try a different Italian place every month and this is one of my favorites. The service is always wonderful and the... wine is fantastic. The food is freshly prepared and delish. I do feel Italian food is always under seasoned. The crust on thetart was a bit too thick but the custard was great. Read more

Really one of the better Italian restaurants I?ve been to in Columbus and for some of the dishes some of my favorite in memory.... A really charming and shame place with curated service and a unique menu that was outstanding overall. We had the autumn menuand really loved the squash and burrata, the best dish of its kind I?ve ever tried. I?ll most definitely return soon! Read more

Great experience! I had been craving fettucine alfredo for months, and I was told by many people that La Tavola was the best... alfredo in the area. I would have to agree! I will say that it is ACTUAL fettucine alfredo. Meaning, it is almost straightcheese, with a lot less heavy cream/butter than one may be used to. Still, super good! I also got the tiramisu, which wasamazing as well. Edit: I went back again, in person this time, and it was better than ever. I got this lovely pesto pasta, which was probably the best I've ever had. Our server (I don't remember her name, but she had a bunch of tattoos) was incrediblynice and helpful. The atmosphere was great, and everyone (servers, cooks, etc) all seemed like they genuinely enjoyed workingthere. Smiles all around! Read more

My husband and I made a reservation here for our four year anniversary after researching the top date spot in Columbus. We... decided to sit outside given the pleasant weather and to be able to have a more intimate dinner setting together since insidethe restaurant was kinda small. ?? The hostess and server were both very friendly and welcoming. We ordered our drinks, appetizers, and entrées shortly after we were seated and the first round of food arrived within a reasonable timeframe. Myhusband ordered the Peroni beer to drink and he said loved it. ???? I ordered the ambrosia negroni cocktail which was alright. Iwas hoping it would have had more of an orange flavor. ???? We both ordered the arugula salad and wow that was a massive salad.???? ???? I think we would have been better off sharing one instead of getting two. You definitely get your money's worth withthat option. Also, the bread and oil they serve was divine. ???? For entrées, my husband ordered the chicken parmesan and Ihad the gnocchi parmadora. He said the chicken was good but the gnocchi was somewhat cold. My meal was much smaller than Ianticipated but the red sauce was palatable - not too acidic like some places. We wanted to end the meal with tea, coffee, anddessert but they didn't have espresso and only had chamomile tea. Both disappointing but my husband ordered a regular coffee andI'm a weirdo and had an Earl Grey teabag in my purse. ??????????????? They brought out a teapot with hot water for me and it wasso so so cute. For dessert, my husband had the tiramisu and I had the chocolate cake. The cake was a bit dry but overallokay. The entire experience was good but it lacked in some aspects. Service was slow, the price for the portions isquestionable (our end total was like $97), and the limited tea and coffee menu was disappointing. The food was good but nothingto rave about. The outdoor dining area was definitely cute and the atmosphere was romantic. I'd love to come here again in Read more

My husband and I cut our camping vacation short due to weather and went out for a nice dinner to end the week. I love handmade... pasta and this is the best I've had in Columbus! I ordered the Gnocchi al Forno with prosciutto and my husband had the PastaBolognese. The Gnocchi was like small clouds of deliciousness with brussels sprouts that magically stayed crispy thoughsmothered in cheese sauce (in a good way). Pasta Bolognese was perfectly Al Dente. Dessert was really great though if I'm beingsuper nitpicky a tad dry towards the outside of the cake but perfect until reaching almost the edge and the ganache and creamcheese masked it. Server was excellent. We left full--the portion sizes were perfect in my opinion. The decor inside was casualbut felt special, this was a great date night spot! Definitely get a reservation. we waited outside for 10 minutes beforeopening to make sure we got one of the two walk-in available tables. Someone washing the doors popped outside and told us hewould put our names on the wait-list but then the host didn't seem to believe us when we said that happened--which was kind ofstrange. We still got a table but I wouldn't risk it in the future! Read more

The food is amazing: pasta dishes, pizza and dessert. It?s a bit on the more expensive side, but still reasonable for a nice... date night. Service is great! Would recommend making a reservation because the restaurant is small without tons of seating(especially when the patio is closed), but very romantic and cozy atmosphere. Read more

An amazing rustic, expertly executed, authentic Italian dining experience. Farm to table daily specials, and you can tell... everything was homemade. Get the house made fresh pasta, have a three course meal, you won't regret it Read more
