I ordered a cake for my grandma's divorce party. Her husband ran away to Oklahoma and she was heartbroken. The cake successfully... listed all the reasons why it's wonderful to be single, but I'm very confused by the fact that when we cut into it, we realizedit was a large ice cream filled croissant. It was tasty, and cured her heartbreak. But then she ran off with an Elvisimpersonator and now she's stuck in Italy and cannot return to America. But that's okay, because I now live in her house rentfree. I own seven hamsters and they love running around my grandmother's old home. Service inside was great and the only reason for more than 1 star, but the outside was atrocious. The trash bin was overloaded... and cups and spoons were all over due to the wind. Also, outside seating was far less than ideal with only two tables and onechair at each table, which seemed to have not been wiped down in a long, long time. Read more
Ordered a pick up order. When I got there to get it. They seemed very unhappy I was there. Then they gave me my order and it?s... melted. To the point it was like I got ripped off because I should of just ordered the smallest size. For over 6 dollarsdefinitely not worth it. I ordered a cake for my son?s 15th birthday on Thursday July 28th over the phone because the option wasn?t available online. The... lady that took my order was more than happy to help. She even asked me if I would like writing on the cake. When I arrive topick up the cake the name is misspelled. I was told it would be a little bit of a wait to fix one letter. I asked them to justgive the cake and I would make it work. I never received an initial apology. I ask to speak to the manager on duty, Brianna. Herexcuse is that they don?t usually take orders over the phone the day before a pickup. As if to say they did me a favor. I toldher that I don?t feel like there was a sense of urgency or an appropriate apology. Even after her snarky facial expression andsarcastic tone I smiled and said no worries and left. If I could leave no stars, I would. I placed an order at the Grandville store yesterday morning (7/10) for our daughters 30th... birthday to be picked up at 11 today (7/11). Well, he gets there at 11:30 and the order is not filled. We dropped almost$40.00 on an 8? cake, custom to all things she loves, and now we have to settle with what they already have made, which IS NOTACCEPTABLE. We will never step foot in that store again. To say we are disappointed is a huge understatement. There is noexcuse for that to have happened. Extremely poor customer service. Read more
Ordered a cake for my sons birthday.... They were 2 hours late delivering it to begin with... when they did it was the wrong.... Then, they couldn't find anyone to bring me mine, and asked if I could leave my sons party to go get it and then brought itafter his bedtime when he was asleep. Not only that but didn't offer any reimbursement for the cake! The most startling partis they picked up the wrong cake and took it back to the store... we weren't planning on eating it, but does that mean they aregoing to send it to someone else?!? This is the Grandville location of Cold Stone creamery. The workers are always friendly, and the ice cream is good, but there... always seem to be trouble at the cash register with items bringing up properly or the system just not working properly. Read more
