What a surprise! I have driven by here dozens of times and never knew it was hiding in the middle of box stores. If you are... headed to Target or Costco, it's worth trying. It's a chain restaurant, based in Indy, IIRC. Great service andfood. Atmosphere is clean, with a bit of art deco vibe. Service was great, from the hostess, to the server, tomanagement. Very good comfort food with big portions. The biscuits and gravy I got was lovely, the muffins were soft and chewy. The side of... eggs and hash browns that come with this meal make it a big endeavor so come hungry or bring some leftovers home Read more
I must admit that I was quite skeptical when our server claimed that their meatloaf was "the best" according to Diner's,... Drive-In's and Dives, Guy Feiri. "We'll see about that" I said and ordered the meatloaf. WOW! I can't say that it's "the best"meatloaf I've ever had, but it was the best meatloaf I've had this year! The entire plate was delicious. A home town diner in the middle of a strip mall. It was clean and not overly busy. We were seated by a friendly waitress. We... ordered wings for an appetizer, delivered in timely manner. The boneless winds were moist and delicious, I was pleasantlysurprised. For our main course we ordered the mushroom swiss burger and steak tips. While both orders were good they were notgreat. Love it. Stopped here for a quick bite. Set up like an old school diner. The food was good and fresh and came quick. I had the... fried chicken & waffle (half chicken was too much) I requested chicken tenders instead. A pleasant surprise was that it camewith Strawberry ???? butter!!???? the tenders had a nice crisp and the waffle was okay. My friend had the egg combo which shereally enjoyed! We did reservations online 15 minutes before we got there walked in the door and got seated immediately at 10 AM on Sunday... morning. Kathalee was our server & she was so amazing. She even noticed that I dropped my spoon for my coffee and brought meanother one with clean napkin within minutes. I wish I could offer more than five stars this up fantastic!!! Read more
