The food here is really good, the drinks are packed with deliciousness, but the best thing I've had there (so far) is the baked... goods !! This is a great brunch spot :) Read more

I got brunch here a couple of weeks ago and wasn’t super impressed by the service or my meal. I ordered Huevos Rancheros which... had little to no flavor, sad tortillas, and fake avocado that didn’t taste great. I think my mistake was ordering Mexican foodat an American diner. They should either revamp this menu item or just remove it completely. Based on the hundreds of otherpositive reviews, I would definitely come back and give Uptown another shot. Just would not recommend the Huevos Rancheros/anyMexican food here. Read more

I was here two years ago and their stuffed French toast was amazing! The ambience was also nice. Sad to say that everything else... looked great, but lacked salt ????. Despite that, I would definitely go again. Read more

We had a wonderful lunch and then ordered coffee and it came in these mugs! We met at the Mark which no longer exists and we are... getting married in October and our color is purple! I asked if I could buy them and told the staff our story and they brought ustwo clean mugs and GAVE them to us with their congratulations! So amazing! So wonderful! Thank you for your response but pleasedon't make assumptions-- your team took good care of me and my future wife. Read more

Great restaurant! Super friendly, helpful, and informative service. We ate at the bar and the bartender was unbelievable! She... explained the menu, the specials, and how they make their food. Everything we ordered was incredible. Uptown Muesli, chickenand noodle soup, and the Uptown Bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers... Mmmm!!! I wouldhighly recommend the Uptown Kitchen! Read more

Our visit to Uptown Kitchen was well worth it, despite a considerably long wait due to staffing shortage on the day we stopped... in. The staff was definitely feeling the burden (like many service workers in these difficult times), but they did their best toaccommodate everyone. On the plus side, we ended up with Jonathan, the owner, as our personal server and he treated us very wellwith some of the best food during our stay in South Bend. It was truly terrific, not just because we were hungry. Their menudoes not disappoint. I would highly recommend giving them your business and enjoying a lovely brunch or lunch meal next timeyou're in the area. And remember to tip your server well. ;) Read more

Good breakfast brunch spot. The pancakes are fluffy with crispy edges best with blueberries. The potatoes are season well and... the eggs are as expected. The toasted sourdough was nice with jam, and I really liked the chicken sausage with fennelseeds. I've eaten here before and I'll probably eat here again. Also they have nice outdoor seating. The inside looks more likea bar than a brunch spot, but it's all good. Read more

Excellent food, legendary customer service, pristine ambiance. Can't say enough about this wonderful place. The mimosas were... awesome, the smoothies were even better, and the cappuccino stole the show! The best part was when the owner, Mr Jonathan Lutz, came to our table and spent an hour getting to know us and comparing all our favorite foods and restaurants. He made us feellike the mist important people in the world. So did our server, Miss Chopper. We can't wait to come back. Read more
