Some of the best food I?ve had here in Southern Oregon. This restaurant feels like family and is super inviting. The owner is... usually there and comes out of the kitchen to greet her customers. My friend and I went there one time years ago and had thisblackberry lavender cheesecake it was the best I ever had. Not sure if they have that on the menu anymore but gosh it wasamazing! Read more

We often go here on a Saturday to take advantage of the laid back atmosphere and enjoy the delicious, authentic Cuban food. ... Angela treats everyone like family so we always feel welcome. If you do nothing else (but I hope you try it all), stop in fora cup of Cubano coffee and dessert. They are the best desserts in the Rogue Valley IMHO. Read more

I absolutely love this sweet restaurant! Sweet Cuban decor and the music is upbeat! The food! I can?t express how much I have... LOVED each and every dish I?ve tried. Always fresh ingredients! I think each meat they serve has been marinated and then cookedperfectly. I recommend the Cuban Sandwich that is served with plantain (a cousin to the banana) chips. Service is superb.Their wine collection is very extensive! Read more

What a find! Excellent downtown location, very filling (despite small servings), and the best plantain chips we?ve ever had.... Very light & crisp. My husband doesn?t like Cuban food, but he really likes it here! The desserts & drinks sound amazing. ????We just left & can?t wait to go back. LOL Read more

This place caught my attention while driving past on 6th the other day, and decided to give them a try. Called for a takeout... order, pleasant person on the phone took my order, was apologetic in informing me my particular order may take a little bit asthe cubanos take some time to prepare and might take upwards of 20 minutes. A nominal wait mid day, so I ordered a GP Cubano, and the tostonas & bread with sauce samplers. OMG! Soooo good. I have not had an authentic Cubano, or plantains for some timeand this food was absolutely authentic. The sandwich was great, and the sauce sampler was also great. So much flavor, andinstantly impressed with the ingredients all seemingly fresh and quality. The olive oil had taste! Refreshing to see such aunique option here in town, I will definitely be back. Highly reccomend. Read more

This is without doubt the best Cuban restaurant in the states. (And I?ve been to some places in the Florida keys as well as... NYC). The owner is super friendly and we really enjoyed interacting with her. She mentioned in passing that she makes some ofthe best Mojitos in the world?. And believe me. They are AMAZING! The food is equally good. If you?re passing through GrantsPass or living nearby, DO NOT MISS this place. We wish she would set up shop in the Bay Area. She would have our family asloyal customers for sure. Read more

Our... server was amazing, the owner made our mojito - refreshing and delicious! I had a vegetarian bowl with rice, beans, avocadoand so much flavor. We felt so at home and welcomed. Read more

We met Angela and Megan of The Cultured Palate for the first time today. I have to say that this is the best kept secret of... Grants Pass. The food was so outstanding, with deep flavors and surprising veriety on the same plate. Apparently, all the Cubanfood I have had to date has sucked! YOU MUST EAT THIS FOOD! Simple as that. The ladies themselves are truly amazing and are thehardest working people I have seen in a long time. We have been CUBANIZED. Read more
