First of all Shari's is not a 5 star restaurant but it is a family friendly restaurant which it does very well. The service was... excellent. Last week I met someone there and we only ordered coffee and our cups were always kept full. My server today had beencalled in on her day off and had every right to be a little sparky but she was absolutely the opposite. What a dive. It's been a long time since we ate here and the place sure went downhill on cleanliness. Where is the health... department? The carpet was a mess. The table was dirty and the menu was gooey, not just a little sticky. A lot of flies. The sadthing is that the food was good and the staff are nice but if I had seen the bathroom prior to ordering, I would have walkedout. We just went through 8 states and this was the dirtiest bathroom yet. The health department needs to get on them to cleanit up and keep your staff and customers safe. We will never stop there again. A wonderful breakfast with my large family. The food was sooo good, I almost forgot to take a pic before digging in?
My husband and I went in for what used to be out favorite meal. Country fried steak and eggs with stuffed hash browns and a side... of brioche french toast. Never again. Upon asking for to go containers, I got up and proceeded to the restroom. I have to say, Ihave been in rest areas and truck stops that were cleaner than this! Needless to say, my leftovers will immediately becomecompost. The worst part is... You can clearly see the water damage from overflowing toilets at the bottom of the door.... The smallest steak dinner I have ever had! Look, the staff is super friendly and deserves 5 stars. The sirloin steak is... literally the smallest steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. The menu does not say the size of the steak, but it mightbe 4oz or smaller. Food was tasting good. This place has a serious problem with flys. They are really annoying. Next time Iwould order to go just to avoid the flys that does not let you eat. Horrible. Read more
