Besides selling cheese, they have expanded their offerings to wine and spirits, and have a sandwich and pizza shop. Things are... pretty pricey, although tasty... I generally don't expect to pay more than $24 for two people at a little sandwich shop. Also,today the server behind the counter recommended their fountain drinks, a brand called "Tractor". So, I got a cup, paid $1.99for it and went over to try it. The drinks were syrupy sweet and undrinkable. So I returned to the counter and said I wouldprefer a bottled drink from the cooler. When I returned with it, I had to pay full price and got no credit for the nastyTractor soda. I later mentioned this to a cashier and told her I was disappointed, but she only shrugged and smiled, like "Ohwell, too bad." I know I will not be patronizing their sandwich shop again, although we ate there twice this week. Read more
Excellent high quality dairy with a huge variety and fantastic customer service. Only complaint is the wait for ice cream. The... design of the ice cream ordering area is horrible. Tons of people standing around blocking the doors, you can never tell who iswaiting in line to place an order versus those who are waiting for their ice cream treat to be made. We have walked in andwalked right back out on multiple occasions due to the congestion. They should create an ice cream cone only line to get peoplein & out quicker and also should install a walk up service window where people don't have to enter the building if they onlywant to order ice cream. With the current setup, it takes at least 10-15 minutes for them to make a twist cone. The ice cream isgood but it doesn't justify the wait time. Read more
Always love coming here! It's a great place to get ice cream, fresh cheese curds and sticks, and cheese spreads! Clean and... organized store with cafe and ice cream shop inside. And a dog 'park' of to one side! A must stop on your way through, (or aspecial trip if you really want fresh diary products)! Read more
Wife wanted to have lunch here because we could always get a twist cone and some good cheese to go. The prices were good and... food was out in a timely matter even though it was super busy. The only con, I would say is that I wish there was more dinningseating. Read more
Who doesn't love the Burnett Dairy? It's classic Wisconsin! Make sure to try the squeaky cheese. It's usually by the registers... and they do run out of it each day, so grab it when you can. Read more
Loved this place happen to come upon it while driving back home to Kansas from visiting family in Cable, WI. If you are wanting... some amazing Wisconsin cheese this is the place to go for it. I?ve seen this place on my trips from Minnesota out to my friends house out in Webster Wisconsin. A good time later my other... half picked up their scorpion cheddar cheese from a local store. Just tried it tonight. Enjoyable in small amounts. First bite Iwas instantly hit with ?the scorpion?. Very spicy, had three thin slices and had tears running.
