6:45 Our party of 6 waited 25 minutes to be seated at 7:06pm with only 4 tables full in the restaurant. Our table of 6 with... now only 3 tables full in the restaurant waited over 1.5 hours to get our food. When we left there 9:00 pm were only 2 tablesfull in the entire restaurant. Some of our party was satisfied with their food, others not so much. Sorry, I was on a date with the wife, so no pictures of the food. We were in Grapevine at a craft show & just decided to try... Hoffbrau on the spur of the moment, but I had gotten a recommendation from the front counter person at the hotel I stayed atnear there 2 weeks ago. The service was beyond compare. I am terrible with names, but our server was awesome & hisrecommendations were perfect. He advised me to try the coffee rubbed ribeye and yeah, it was beyond good & cooked to perfection!I couldn't really taste the flavor of coffee, but it gave it a different flavor that was very nice & I felt complimented thesteak perfectly. He also recommended the Cowtown Chicken Fried Steak to my wife, but she went with the regular chicken friedsteak. It didn't quite fill that craving she had, but she did say it was good. We had honey wheat rolls with honey butter thatwere very good. The steamed broccoli I got as my side were amazing dipped in my steak drippings. Our salads were also verygood we both got ranch dressing, but I got the spicy ranch, the wife got regular. It wasn't spicy to me at all, but the flavorwas very good. If you like a lot of dressing though, you might want to ask for extra on the side. Since we went about 1 pm, itwas quiet & not too busy, which suited us perfectly after that craft show. I took my sister and one of her sons for her Birthday dinner. We went early, knowing it would be busy later. We were sat right... away in a booth. We waited and waited at least 30 minutes and no one showed up to our table to even greet us. I finally went tothe Young woman who sat us and told her about this. Finally a manager appeared and apologized, we finally got some water andordered appetizers right away and then again no one came for quite a long time. We had another manager appear , placed ourorder, waited, had to ask for our salads and bread. When dinner was finally served, a steak ordered Med Rare was well-done!!Sent back , came and was Medium but he ate most if it anyway because we were tired of waiting. They comped his meal ( wouldhave rather had it cooked the way he ordered it) and offered a free dessert. The food was OK but not great, Catfish was a bitovercooked as well as the hush poppies. My sister's steak was done to her liking. The apple cobbler had a thin poorly donecrust. We honestly may never return as our experience was that bad! Read more

Best 7oz sirloin I have ever had! My beverage glass never got below half full, Anise refilled it several times. Loved their work... model. Our server Vanity was exceptional, however, all the employees took care of us. Great teamwork! Read more

Even though the restaurant was crowded, Hoffbrau managed to accommodate our last minute party of 16 adults. The service was... great and the food was delicious. We look forward to going back (on a warmer day) and enjoying the lovely patio. Read more

What a night. We went with two other couples, but ran into friends. The host got us all at one table and it turned into a party.... We were there until closing. The food was incredible, the service was great, and the owners came by to say hello. My wife triedmost of the craft cocktails and reports that they were great. The one with a dried lemon was her favorite. What an incrediblenight. Thank you to the owners, the staff, the cooks, the servers, and everyone who made it such a good evening. Read more
