Let me tell you the scenery was the best part of being here. I have had crabs, snow crab legs, seafood in general all over.... NEVER, have I EVER had seafood that tastes just like it came straight out of the water. Trust me LOOKS ATE AND DECEIVING! FLAVORIS EVERYTHING! Maybe that is a thing for alot of people, but for me it just did not work for my palette. I have enjoyed crabs inFlorida, Baltimore, and countless restaurants that had so much flavor steamed in that did ot over power the succulent taste ofmy seafood. This was an altogether different experience for me. One that I will NOT repeat. The service was not at all greatfor a party of 15. We had to sit at 2 different tables and could not celebrate together as a family should. On a high note thescenery was gorgeous! Read more
This is always a busy place. We ordered oysters, large blue crabs, soft shell crab and steamed shrimps. The soft shell crab... was amazing. The blue crabs this time was not as sweet as last year but they are still much better than the ones we had inHouston and Dallas this month. I visited Harris Crab House on a Sunday afternoon, there was no wait. Tammy was extremely helpful as our server. We chose the... deck for the view. We came for the crabs! We caught a special $145/ 2 dz large. These crabs were amazing.......nice and heavyand flavorful. There were 3 or us and we had a problem getting through the 2 dz. I thoroughly enjoyed our crabs, they weredelicious and the view helped tremendously. First time here. I was craving oysters and landed at this place. I absolutely enjoyed everything we ordered. From their... delicious Spicy Bloody Mary to their delicious mouth watering oysters. I will definitely be back soon. Their soft shell crabsandwich looks legit. I?ll need to try that next time. Read more
Came here for some local cuisine on a Friday night. The wait was actually not that bad and we were able to get a table fairly... quick. The hostess was pleasant and the food was pretty good. My wife is picky with her onion rings and she said these werecooked to perfection. Our actual service at the table wasn't the best and we weren't checked on as often as I'd like. I waitedabout 10 minutes for the waitress to come around near the end of our visit and eventually had to get up and find the waitress inorder to check out. Tables in other areas were regularly checked on, so I'm chalking this up to a one-off. All in all, weenjoyed the food and are willing to make a return trip, on the chance we'll get a different waitress the next time. Read more
Drove all the way down to get Maryland blue crabs. Was not disappointed. Will have to make this a summer destination? just to... get blue crabs. Never had blue crabs like this before. So much lump crab meat, so delicious. We also tried the fried soft shellcrabs which were also great. Best tip I can give is.. just get the blue crabs and as large as you can get them. Don?t evenlook at anything that is not local caught. We also tried the snow crab legs and thought? the blue crabs were so much better.. weshould get more blue crabs. Read more
