Stopped here for quick bite to eat and enjoyed the food. Local establishment with a friendly staff. My Heuvos Ranchero plate... was very good, with one exception, I ordered the eggs over easy, one was perfect and one was over cooked. Flavorful and wellheated throughout. The hash browns were nice and crisp on the outside and hearty in the middle. My wife enjoyed her ?Rachel?which is ?Rueben? without the pastrami. Definitely for family and older people. Good hamager nice bun. Food was all around Good. Only thing. 2 half and half for your... coffee. Rest was non creamer. Girl would not bring anymore out. So she wouldn't give anymore coffee. No coffee no creamneeded. Very busy, 25 minutes to seat. 10 more to get table wiped down. The order. So 1 hr total from time we got threw thedoor to order. Busy. When you were seated at the door. THE light above us had spiders. 3 fell to the ground. Yuck. And on thegrease. They just need their cleaning crew do the work they get paid to do in general. It's a fairly new place to be dirty. Onething I thought strange was if you USE A CREDIT CARD, THEY CHARGE YOU LIKE THE GASS STATION DOES. that's just doesn't sit well. Please tell us first I had cash. So they charged me for a credit card charge. I used the card instead. But payed cash fortip. Girl said otherwise they tax her also and she has to split it with everyone. Guess this is the new way. But overallstill give a 5. For Grass Valley, this place gives you good food, fair price. I'm not sure what other folks are raving about with this place, but I thought the food was average, at best. The wait time to be... seated was a problem, they ran out of gluten-free pancakes before 9. The eggs were bland, the turkey sausage almost nastytasting. Our server was good. Good breakfast food. Awesome pancakes. Thick bacon. Friendly staff. They work hard and smile a lot. Fair pricing. Large... portions but not rediculous. My brother-in-law and I can eat a lot and neither of us felt under-fed. Read more
Best brunch place I'm Grass Valley. We showed up and it was not busy and no wait. Felt a little surprised it took awhile to be... seated..but once we got seated, everything else was quick . Food good as always. Husband had teriyaki burger and I had fishsandwich. Next visit, I chose the taco salad , husband had fried chicken lunch plate and our 11 yr old had chocolate chipwaffle with hot chocolate. They give kids 1 free hot chocolate refill too ! Service has always been amazing here and the staff is so friendly and in a conversation with them I was told why. When COVID... hit the employer paid the difference in their unemployment to keep everybody stable until it was safe to reopen. No surprisethat all their employees returned.
