First time visit and my boyfriend and I had an amazing time! The room is newly renovated and the view is breathtaking. We?re... surprised it?s not busy at all, and we were able to enjoy this beautiful sunset quietly. The view is priceless in thisroom. The boathouse right beside the resort is the only downside. Food was good, but everything else seems to be a bit off.It?s Oktoberfest when we went, so it?s a set menu, that?s fine. But the music there was Jazz and candy dinner atmosphere, so itdidn?t match the menu. Also seems to be understaffed there. Regardless, we did have a good dinner. I?ll definitely come back. Read more

We booked the resort and thought it would be a great experience, however the check-in experience didn't feel welcoming and staff... was very cold. We stayed for two nights, no room service whatsoever, the next day no cleaning at all, not even threw thegarbage, no shampoo and body wash being replaced, felt like no one even walked in the room, very disappointed for paying over$700 but no room services. The condo is spacious , comfortable with nice patio and sunroom. There are free mountain bike rentals and it was quite fun to... ride in the woods. The meal in the restaurant is so so but I did enjoy the singing performance by the artist when I had ourdinner . Read more

I stayed here for 1 night and I wish it was longer. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The facility is very clean... and the room I stayed had an incredible view of the lake. You won?t get bored around the property, there?s lots to do. Read more

My Taboo stay was great. The staff were friendly, especially the recreation staff. The beach is one of the best beaches I've... been at. Its shallow for quite a distance from the beach. The sunset from Taboo''s Boat House Restaurant is amazing! One of thebest vacations I've had!!!! Only thing is the fishing is not great from the resort. We just had our third family getaway at Taboo. The resort has a lot to offer families with young children, or couples looking to... try different activities. The resort grounds are impeccable and not too large that you feel like amenities and activities arefar from each other. The beach, pools, lake activists are all side by side. It?s a classy resort with a lovely atmosphere. Wealso love the location as you can visit the other Muskoka towns within 20-45 mins. We would highly recommend this resort. Taboo is centrally located and very nice place to stay. Staff is super friendly and will do what they can to make your stay... comfortable. They are next to the lake so lots of water sports, sun and things to do. They also have tennis courts, basketballand indoor ping pong and more. The golf course is in good shape and generally not very crowded. Would highly recommend stayingin a room with a lake view. There is no room service though they have a decent restaurant that serves food throughout the day.Menu is a bit restricted but there are good restaurants within 10 mins if you wanted to get out and eat. We stayed for 4 daysand truly enjoyed it. Read more

Amazing place with amazing views! Accommodations are modern and clean. The most comfortable bed! We stayed in a waterfront room... on the top floor and it?s a must. Lots to do and see on the resort! Only thing to make it better would be another restaurantoption! Read more
