Hands down the best drinks my wife and I have ever had, anywhere. Very interesting, creative options, and nice presentation... (though variable ? they may take a little extra time on the presentation only when they're less busy?) Food was also quite good, though they only have snacky options, no substantial meals. We like the atmosphere as well, and there's very little to critique. It's a bit pricey ? around $14-18 per drink, and more than I might expect for the apps/snacks ? but well worth it in my opinion. We make a point to stop by here every time we're in Great Barrington now. My spouse and I were very satisfied with our visit to Moon Cloud where we sat out front on the sidewalk. I would say this is a... meal to remember. No doubt, we will be back with friends. Our server named Apryl was perfect in every way: friendly, knowledgeable, timely, and respectful. The drinks were amazing: Bladerunner & The Ruby Slipper. Presentation was spot on: bothglassware & large ice cube. The Tagliere Board we selected had SUMMER GRUYÈRE, a tin with SCALLOPS/GALICIAN SAUCE, CHICKENLIVER MOUSSE, and STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES along with plenty of sourdough bread and a bit of mustard. All items on the board wassimply delicious. That chicken liver mousse is extra special. Probably the same can be said for the scallops. At the end, weshared some delicious CHOCOLATE MINT CHEESECAKE. Glad we only got one as it very tasty and easy to eat too much. Apryl was alsoable to inform us, after we asked about it, that the mountain you see when looking down Railroad Street from Moon Cloud is EastRock peak. Now, we know. Thank you Apryl for a special experience at Moon Cloud. Read more

Having worked in cocktail bars in NYC for some time now, I was highly unimpressed. My friend and I sat at the bar not staff... person spoke more than two words to us for the entire time we were there. We weren?t even given water. No one asked us if wewere enjoys our drinks. No one wished us farewell as we left. These three things are STANDARD steps of service across theindustry that I could be yelled at or even fired for not completing at some of my previous and current jobs. The drinks wereaverage at best, certainly not worth the price point or the amount of time they took to be made. The service and hospitalitywere abysmal. If a bar is claiming to have a high-end craft cocktail experience yet you?re missing the fundamentals ofhospitality, that?s a huge red flag. My favorite thing about sitting at a cocktail bar is talking to staff and learning aboutthe menu and the space, so it?s always disappointing to not be able to do that. The drink ingredients may be in the upperechelon, but without service to match, you risk blending in with the all the other wannabe hip, Death & Co knockoff bars thatare a dime a dozen these days. If it had been busy I would have been more understanding with my critique. Maybe my expectationsare higher than average, but I would not recommend this place to a friend, and I actually would actively discourage anyone underthe age of 40 from going, especially if you?re outwardly LGBTQ+ presenting like I am. I hate to think that had anything to dowith the service, but I certainly felt a lot of uncomfortable stares from other patrons. All that aside, like I?ve said you canget better bang for your buck almost anywhere, and if you really want a craft cocktail experience I could rattle off about 5-10locations that can actually do that with great service, the same price point, and you might even having learned a thing or two. Amazing drinks and good prices. We also ordered a charcuterie board and there was a impressive selection foods to choose from.... Service was great. This is a good spot to come for a drink or a light dinner! Read more

My wife and I stopped in on an off-season Tuesday night - amazing cocktails, tasty food, great vibe, and knowledgeable and... friendly staff. Upscale, but approachable. Based on the other reviews, I'm hopeful that it will be just as good during the crazytourist season. We will definitely be back! Read more

We each had one drink before going to dinner in town and had trouble deciding what to get as there were so many appealing... options! We all enjoyed our cocktails ? the ice cubes were even branded with their logo. We sat outside and service was veryslow, which would have been fine on any other night but we were stressed about getting to dinner on time. The drinks were great, though, so kept it at 5 stars!
