This is perhaps the best steakhouse we've ever been to. This includes many famous places on the West Coast, Minneapolis,... Chicago, and New York City. We've had a variety of things from fish, poultry, to steak, and everything was just off the chartsgood. The steaks, both medium and medium well, are always cooked to perfection. They are seasoned perfectly, and were very highquality, tender cuts. Sides were all freshly prepared, and seemed to be locally sourced in the case of vegetables in season. The chicken is tender and flavourful, and a good sized portion. The desserts are equally high quality. We always look forwardto coming here. In addition to the incredibly high quality food and, the prices are a bargain for what you are getting. Theservice is very good as well. This is one of those few restaurants where they have everything nailed down, from the service tothe food, to exceptional pricing for what you are getting. Read more
TLDR: Excellent food, outstanding service and willing to accommodate our 1 year old. My wife and I wanted to go up to the... Berkshire's to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Not ready to leave our newly turned 1 year old behind we decided to bring heralong on the trip. So we knew that finding a place to celebrate was going to be challenging. After scoping out the local spotsand getting a feel for the town we came across this place. I saw the menu and knew that my wife, myself and our daughter wouldlove the food. So I went in and asked if they would be willing to host us for dinner the following evening, being that we havea 1 year old who likes to exercise her lungs from time-to-time, especially when she wants something and it isn't coming quickenough. They agreed and put us down for 2 1/2. We arrived the next evening and right as we walked in they knew it was us as werushed in from the rain carrying a child. They quickly ushered us to the last booth in the back of the bar area of therestaurant. We briefly looked over the menu, knowing that at this stage in our life, the quicker the turn around the better forour daughter. We ordered the bone marrow to share, my wife got the autumn risotto, and I got the strip with a side of mushroomsand chimichurri. The bone marrow with mushrooms were delicious and our whole family quickly consumed that appetizer onlywishing there was more. The entrees were perfect. My steak, medium rare, was cooked to perfection, and the char marks fromthe grill along with the salt and pepper seasoning came through in almost every bite. My daughter who loves mushrooms couldn'tget enough of them. My wife said she enjoyed her risotto as well. I thought it was truly fall on the plate. Throughout themeal the entire staff waved to our daughter, who loves to communicate to people through waving and saying hi. WOW!! hands down one of the best steakhouse, let alone restaurant, experiences I?ve ever had. Start to finish incredible.... Servers are full of energy, super friendly and helpful. Food beyond speaks for itself. Bread was so crispy yet fluffy and supertasty, ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection on the first try, French fries were crispy, and don?t get me started on themashed potatoes!! (need to be a garlic lover for the mashed potatoes) This is the standard all steakhouses should follow. Smallmenu so you know everything is good. Stop searching, you found just the place. Alone, I found myself at the bar, getting an unplanned tasting of bourbons, priming my... palette for the juiciest, most exquisite ribeye I?ve had in some time. Everything here is 10 out of 10. Having tried the ribeye, beef poutine, beet salad, and a martini, it?s all terrific. Great... ambiance and service. Well worth a visit. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse too. Read more

Wildly good steakhouse in Great Barrington. We went a little overboard with the shrimp cocktail, pate, wedge salad, and clam... chowder as appetizers (look at the size of those bacon bits!). Foolishly thought we could also finish a shared 40 oz bone-inribeye with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and mac and cheese and got through a laughably small amount of it.
