Excellent pastries with the added homemade delicious taste, friendly staff, both outdoor and indoor dinning. One of my favorite... stops in the area or just select your desires and have it boxed to go. Read more

Pastries, food (homemade French soups!) overpriced but amazing. Too bad you get same stuff in France incomparably... cheaper. Otherwise place is cheap kitsch pseudo decor. Peeling "wallpaper", generic prints in plastic frames, clock on walldoesn't work, fake flowers everywhere. All feels cozy plastic. Alas not at all la touch francaise. Read more

The pastry was dry and not flavorful, the coffee serving skimpy.

TLDR: Got my order wrong more than once, I had to go back twice to get an order. The manager/owner perhaps has enough business... that she does not care about the mistakes made by staff or upsetting customers and offered very poor customer service that leftme feeling more upset than the inconvenience their mistakes caused me. People told me that this type of customer servicewarrants a review, so here it is. I ordered an iced coffee -- they got this simple order wrong after a long wait (only one othercustomer was there) and didn't offer to fix it, so I had to ask for a cup of ice and make my own. Didn't think much of it andordered a birthday cake there. When I went to pick up the cake, the manager and one staff were there and I found that they hadspelled the name wrong despite my having confirmed it 3x prior to placing the order. I was not particularly bothered and justasked if they would mind fixing it before I took it. They offered to just cut the name off and told me I could take the cakewith just the top part of the sign... I asked if they could just quickly rub off the name and do it correctly (it was on a thinslab of chocolate) and the manager said "it's not as easy as it looks". The manager did not seem even slightly apologetic andinstead looked annoyed by me, making me wonder if I had done something wrong and I walked away feeling like scum (for askingnicely for what I had very clearly ordered and paid for). I changed my schedule, came back the next day with three little kidsin tow, hoping to just grab the cake and be off, but I was handed a cake with nothing written on it at all without evenchecking! Thankfully I caught it before leaving. They took it back to fix it but honestly, by then I was annoyed that my orderwasn't ready after having come back a second time and having to wait again in the busy shop with three little ones. I politelyasked the manager if I could get a slight discount or a small treat for the kids (who had been dragged to t Read more

A Patisserie from the old world. All of their puff pastry are recommended, but specifically, the chocolate almond croissant is a... special delight. Coffees from the Expresso machine are prepared with finesse, but the brewed coffee -- not so much. Worth goingout of your way. Read more

We ate here a few times on our most recent trip to Great Barrington and everything we had was excellent, including the egg and... cheese on croissant, chocolate croissant, hot chai tea, iced green tea, split pea soup, and caprese sandwich. Nice outdoorseating and pleasant service. Read more

Nice Parisian theme bakery. The coffee selection is good but the taste is mediocre. The pastry selection looks good but most... items are exposed. There were a ton of flies and bees buzzing and crawling all over the pastries. It made me sick looking at it.The sandwiches are quite pricey for what you get. I don't think its a great place for lunch given the conditions. Read more
